Im not sure which version of each fighter is going to show up on
March 15. Pacquiao is a natural brawler that likes to swarm his
opponent for a KO. Marquez is more of counter-puncher but likes
to put combos together when he sees an opening (which may look
like he's a brawler at times).

Anyway we've seen different versions of each fighter in recent
times. Pacquiao showed his patience and as he put it his
"counter-puncher" side in his last bout with Barrera. Marques
meanwhile showed more aggresivenes towards Barrerra in their
last meeting. So in essence will we see Pacquiao backing off
and counterpunch while Marquez chases him around the ring all
night? Its a possibility but I highly doubt it.

Lets get the facts straight. Manny is 45-3 (KO 35) while Marquez
is 48-3(35). But the big difference is the age difference.
Manny is 29 while Marquez is 34. Marquez has repeatedly and
adamantly stated that he is younger than his age would suggest.
His reason being he hasn't fought in too many tough brawls as
did Marquez, Barrera or Morales (he is actually the oldest of
the four). He may have a point there, or does he? he's
essentially stating that he has less experience in "big
fights". Well... a fight doesn't get any bigger than this. But
that begs the question. Why hasn't Marquez been in more big
fights?. Was everybody just afraid to face him or did he did
he have a bad promoter altogether? One thing is certain, He's
a fearsome tactical fighter. Pacquiao's trainer Roach stated in
the first match between Pacquiao and Marquez that he was the
most difficult fighter compared to Morales and Barrera.

As for Pacquiao, He stated that he's more of a complete fighter
now than their first meeting. Their first meeting was a draw.
(even though points would have favored Pacquiao, but thats
another story).

So all in all, whos going to win? Pacquiao has more experience
as far as big fights are concerned. Marquez can get rattled as
in his meeting with Barrera. Look for Pacquiao's superior speed
to come into action in later rounds. Pacquiao will show patience
once again and try to push the action later on. This is
Marquez's last final step into glory and will try to stop at
nothing to win the fight ( but he's not a dirty fighter like
Barrera though). Marquez has a lot of heart but will be
susceptible to a KO if he gets too aggressive in later rounds.

Result : Pacquiao 10 rd KO or decision.

When I predict a fight, I try as much as possible to look at both fighters, and actually see what they're both capable of. It won't be an easy fight. It can go two ways. Either marquez avoid a lot of Pacquiao's straight lefts or Marquez eats a lot of Pacquiao's Left hands.

I believe Marquez being a great boxer that he is, will be able to avoid a lot of Manny Pacquiao's punches. But with PacMan's state of condition and the speed and power that we all know him for, Manny should come victorious on March 15th!~

Pacquiao will win by TKO in Round 9 up until then it should be a close fight all it will take Marquez to do is make one little slip up and Manny will jump all over him. I think that mistake will happen late in Round 8 and Manny will end it early in the 9th.

Before the big fight on saturday...Lets watch pacman go for twelve rounds
with Larios. Granted Larios put up a good fight, But you can see for yourself
the style of Larios and possiblly the same to be used by Marquez. Fight will
be posted tonight until Friday. Go to http://www.boxingstyle.com/

Manny has gained patience, maturity, and versatility after their first encounter in 2004. As we have seen in the second Barrera fight, he is now capable and willing to win a fight without the high-risk, search and destroy tactics that characterized him a few years ago.

yes ur right.. they are different foghter since they last met.. but right now i think the pacman is more of a complete fighter.... as you could see on his last fight with barrera... even though he did not knockout barrera for the reasons that we dont know.. he showed us that he could box and if there is a chance that he could knock his opponent down we all know that he is going to do it......... i dont believe that marquez will have the ability to win and also anyone on this weight has the capability to win against the pacman.. let just say hes like the michael jordan on this weight class... and for those who wish to that pacman will lose to marquez... dream on.. pacman will only lose if he goes up... lets just wait see... but for now its lodyes... correct if im right... :D

PAC will have a plenty of arsenals this time. Some other reasons are:

1. He has good sponsor of socks.
2. He will train early to Roach camp.
3. Develops counter punching. When JMM attacks, a left uppercut or left hook may slow down JMM.
4. Hes right hand will be a big factor. Jabbing right and hooking.
5. 6 combos. Right hook, right jab, straight left, upper cut left, 2 combos to the body.
6. He was inspired by FPJ to lead and unite the nation.

yes, could have said it any better, yes i agree all of these suggestions DO make sense esp number 3 and 5, well i guess well see what happens on saturday.

Manny has an added motivation now that Bobby was KO in just 1 round.

Simple for this, i just go with the facts:
Manny Pacquiao is:
1. the stronger fighter
2. the bigger fighter
3. the heavier fighter
4. the faster fighter
5. the younger fighter
