I think Manny will have a hard time finding good and lucrative fights for him. The three Mexicans will avoid him and I am not sure if Arum is stupid enough to gamble on a rematch and lose the marketability of Morales. The same with Marquez and Barrera. Manny had his chance and he came up short in the eyes of non-Filipino fans.

Manny has arrived already and has already reached the peak of his career. He could try to go out by winning a title from a paper champion. This way he could have some basis for his place in boxing history.

As a Filipino, I just want to thank Manny for making us proud. Try to imagine that IT TOOK THREE MEXICAN CHAMPIONS TO FIGURE HIM OUT AND EVENTUALLY STOP HIM. But again that may be another biased perception of his career.

Maybe it's time for other Filipino boxers to step into the limelight.
