Nandyan na si Lassiter at thompson talo parin. Yan ba ang dream team ng Pinas?

I think a selection of Gilas from Chot and current Team Pilipinas from Yeng.

Thompson had only 11 minutes, pero ung efficiency nya, really shows his potentials.
5 pts, 3 rebs, 3 asst, tallying also block and steal...

We were missing our mainstays here due to suspensions...

Just shows your ignorance of the game. It was the other way around. Castro toyed with the Iranians in previous iterations, they just had no answer for him. Btw, he's listed as 5' 11".

Castro is a threat to 3-pt shooting. Pag binantayan sa 3 pt area, lulusot naman diretso layup

Castro really important. Pringle similar/good replacement for Castro.

Romeo good if he learns not to be buwakaw.

Give Lassiter/Cabagnot some time.

No chance for Standhardinger and Pringle to play as locals?

Team Pilipinas had some lapses in defense hence allowing the Iranian's 3 pt. shots,
They were sometimes crowding the lane during the opponents' offense leaving them free from the outside.
I couldn't understand why no screen plays were given to Cabagnot & Lassiter,
Making the two to unleashed forced shots without having good aims at the rim.
The many missed shots, were our players tensed or was it the unfamiliarity of the ring?
I couldn't understand also why Thompson was benched in the last quarter,
Paul Lee was being outhusled by no.5 Mashayekhi but he had a hard time against Thompson.
Anyway, time to forget about the loss & concentrate in the more important game against Qatar.
Close game will be at Araneta Coliseum, PBA's homecourt on Monday, Sept.17
Go Team Pilipinas! Go!

The problem with Pringle is, he is not a local player according to FIBA rules. Same as Christian S. It's a toss up between them if Blatche is still suspended & not available to play. :(

Imagine Standhardinger as a local and with Blatche or any naturalize big. Solid front.

According kay A. Chua with Jun Mar/G. Slaughter at the center, why not Brownlee (6'5") @ SF/PF position as the naturalized player (while Blatche still serving his suspension). Brownlee’s naturalization is now undergoing process.
