malaking bagay IMO.

bala yan in case of force ranking against guys like Vergel Meneses, Kenneth Duremdez, Freddie Hubalde and the likes.

Mod, if you are to force rank James Yap, Vergel, Kennneth and Hubalde, who would be your first choice?

kung ako kahit kababayan ko yang si tata Caloy, kay Vergel parin ako ganda ng mga highlight play ni Vergel
parang tumitigil sa taas..
at saka idol yan ni James Yap si Vergel kaya 18 ang number nya..

:D

kung ako naman, James Yap followed by Vergel...

James Yap crowning glory as Rain or Shine gunner finally joins elite 10,000-point club

From: Gerry Ramos July 29, 2017, 06:50 pm

James Yap is the first player to enter the 10,000-point club since Jerry Codinera did the same in 2001.

ANTIPOLO CITY – James Yap finally etched his name as among the best scoring machine in PBA history.

On Saturday, the veteran gunner became a certified member of the league’s elite 10,000-point club during Rain or Shine’s Governors Cup game against Meralco at the Ynares Center here.

The two-time MVP clinched the milestone when he drained a right corner three-pointer with 49.3 seconds left in the third quarter to trim down the Elasto Painters deficit to 64-61.

Yap, 35, was later awarded the game ball in a simple ceremony at midcourt.

Unfortunately, the Elasto Painters lost the game, 89-73.

Meralco coach Norman Black lauded Yap later on, saying he already saw the potential in the former shooting guard out of University of the East the first time he laid an eye on him during his high school years in Iloilo City.

“That’s a great accomplishment for James Yap. That’s a lot of points first of all,” said Black.

“But I’m sorry for him,” he curtly replied for spoiling what would have been a night of celebration for celebrated Rain or Shine stalwart.

Yap became the 14th local player to breach the 10,000-point mark and 15th overall, counting former import and now Meralco coach Norman Black.

Yap is the first player to achieve the feat since Jerry Codinera did the track in 2001.

Going to the game, Yap needed just three points to break the mark.

227 points nalang din pala kailangan ni MC47 upang makasama sa 10,000 point club.

kakayanin pa kaya nya? :?: :?: :?:
