Let's check what this guy can do throughout his NBA career...
He's promising and full of potential...
Will he be the better than Dirk or will he be the next Darko?

Let's see...

Rookie Kristaps Porzingis impresses in NBA debut

MILWAUKEE — Four months and three days have passed since fans of the New York Knicks booed mercilessly when NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that the team had selected Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall choice in the 2015 draft.

Fast-forward to Wednesday night, and it’s a safe bet that many of those same fans are flocking online to buy the 7-foot-3 Latvian’s jersey.

Porzingis scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, blocked a shot and dished out an assist in 24 minutes as the Knicks rolled to a 122-97 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in an opening night laugher at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The 20-year-old struggled with his shot, making just three of 11 attempts from the field, but knocked down nine of 12 free-throw attempts and even connected on a 3-pointer in his NBA debut.

November 23, 2015 stats against Miami:

Kristaps Porzingis missed 11 of 18 shots, but still had 20 points and 14 rebounds for his seventh double-double.

Kristaps will not be a Darko. He has too many weapons in his arsenal to not make it big in the NBA. Never before have we seen a 7' 3" kid with small forward skill set and range of a guard. He is also a decent defender despite his rail thin frame.

I am not sure if he could reach Dirk Nowitzki territory, but my hunch is that he will. He might even surpass him owing to the fact that he is taller and is a better defender. But for now, he is making a case to be this season's ROY. The only man standing between him and that recognition: Karl Anthony Towns.

Hi mang jabz, welcome back !

Back for good..?
I'll take that.

I remember this guy during NBA drafts, when he was picked by NY's team, then the NY's fans booed him...it was so loud, they were so mean.. smh

Now, Kristaps Porzingis is doing great ! WoW !

He registered his career high so far in his career on November 18 against Charlotte...

He scored 29 points on 10-for-17 shooting in 31 minutes of work to propel the Knicks past the visiting Charlotte Hornets, 102-94, at a raucous Madison Square Garden.

Hopefully he'll be the ROY this year..if he'll continue with such performance he has shown so far..

He wont be a Darko.

the next question is will he be a Ralph Sampson?

Sampson was a 7'4 Forward that can run the floor. was a ROY awardee but underachieved. His career is comparable to that of Yao Ming.

Dirk is a special case...its gonna be hard to match that career.

Barring any injuries mod, Porzingis' career will possibly surpass Yao Ming and Ralph Samson...
He is still young and hard worker...
