it is about how He evolved and improved.. His career was gradually growing and when he reached the top, He stayed there until he left the Bulls. So, B ako.

matalo sa finals?

Matalo sa finals mod..at least hindi nag 1st round exit...
That means he topped his conference but he lost to a better team... :D

BTW mod, pasensyahan nyo na ang bagong handle ni blitzky...
Wagon fan yan ngayon ni Tatum after nya nakalaro si Curry sa Davidson Park...

I agree with your posts mod..
We are fed by the media into believing that 6-0 is better than 6-3...
And that this guy who never lost in the Finals is a demi-God is the GOAT and must be worshipped..
All other great players must give way to this GOAT because he is so great and all other accomplishments can never dwarf what he has achieved...

Grabe talaga ang media..
Couple it with the fact na nag boom at dumami ang NBA basketball show sa TV in late 80's early 90's na peak time ni demi-God..
And we all grew up believing that he is the greatest..
In the process, a lot of people fail to realize na mas marami pang magagaling kahit hindi naka 6-0...

being the greatest is still subjective, if someone thinks that MJ is the greatest then he has a strong case.

but again it is subjective. I'am just trying to show how the media executed an agenda by using phrases like "Undefeated in finals" which impacted many fans the illogical way :D... it is great to be undefeated of course but winning 6 titles and losing 1 in the finals is BETTER than winning 6 and losing 1 in the 1st round.

Bill Russell has nearly double the NBA Championships that Jordan has (11)

Bill Russell also did what Jordan couldn't. Win an NBA Championship in his Rookie Year

NBA Refs did not Coddle Bill Russell like they did Michael Jordan.

NBA Refs did allow other players to FOUL Bill Russell and they also called Fouls on Bill Russell

Unlike when Shannon ANderson and Byron Russell defended JORDAN and never called Jordan for Fouling them.

Bill Russell doesn't have any GIMME RINGS like Jordan has when he pushed off of Byron Russell, one of the most famous
NO-Calls in NBA History.

Hence BILL Russell EARNED his NBA Championships, whereas some of Michael Jordan's were GIFTED to him.

Thus NO VERSION of Michael Jordan holds a CANDLE to any Version of Bill Russell

and I partially agree.

but there are things we should also consider. thus this 'greatest of all time' thing is very very complicated.

though the game has changed and evolved the fact remains that they did what they did.

Dr J Julius Erving doesnt get much reverence these days. He was almost completely wiped out by MJ. like how Converse was completely destroyed by Nike :D.

and sure i rank MJ ahead of him (I proly missed including him too in my top 20 list). He was a mega superstar along Kareem in the 70's. and MJ obviously copied some of his moves and 'approach' of aerial assault.

Elgin Baylor, Julius Erving and David Thompson were the templates Jordan copied from. If this 3 players did not create those aerial moves. will MJ create it himself?

maybe .. maybe not. maybe it will look like the earlier version.

Jordan B for me

Since he has theoretically gained more experience and conference championships.

As for the 100% winning percentage...medyo misleading talaga yan e. 1/1 is 100% din so there goes your undefeated argument.

I think what consider most why mj is great is because of his mental attitude. Di sya nag choke sa 4th quarter.

Scottie Pippen’s full quote on the comparison between Michael Jordan and LeBron James:

“There’s really no comparison.”

“In my mind Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest.”
