Are we going to stick to this line up forever. I have see the same players come back year after year. With the same results.

Why don't they try different players?

We need to trade some of these players already.

Aguilar has to go.

Castro has to go.

Norwood has to go.

Keep wright, Romeo.

What is your next Gilas line up?

Center: Blatche, Fajardo
PF: Aguilar, Rosario
SF: Clarkson, Norwood, Parks
SG: Romeo, Wright, Belo
PG: Castro, Ravena

Abueva comes in if Clarkson won't be able to play

Barring no injuries with enough preparation, I think this is the best lineup we have so far. Australia is light years ahead of everyone in Asia especially if the likes of Simmons, Mills, Dellevedova, Bogut and the rest of their NBA players plays. But this team would be beat everyone else and would be a good challenge to Australia.

Our go to players and playmakers would be: Clarkson, Blatche, Romeo, Castro
We have shooters: Romeo, Belo, Wright and Blatche.
We have defensive stoppers: Clarkson, Norwood, Parks, Aguilar

SF : Norwood, Clarkson (if available)
SG : Parks, Romeo, Wright
PF : Castro, Ravena

Abueva, Alamazan, Kobe (need more exposure)

I saw no defense against SOKOR.

You saying Clarkson, Norwood and parks has defense just destroyed your credibility.

1 game does not define a player's reputation on defense. They are long, strong, athletic, quick with high defensive IQ. They are still our best defenders. Abueva included. The problem is Aguilar would only be our rim protector.

hahaha have you seen Jordan Clarkson play 3 seasons in the NBA? believe me he is no defensive player.

Abueva is undersized to be an effective defensive player.

Norwood. There is a reason why he never made the NBA.

Parks Ditto.

There is a reason why these koreans and Chinese make the NBA.

Because they are better players.

Now..We keep sending the same players over and over again shows the lack of talent in the PBA.

Hopefully the next generation is better because this one is a bunch of scrubs.

Clarkson with no defense? You just love TNT basketball :)... he may not have superb defense but the no defense thing is relative to the top NBA players comparison. If he's playing Asian league, would be different.

Some Chinese players made the NBA not because they're better by skills,... but they're big both size and market.

Pinas has a lot of good players but mostly guards... would be really hard to get into the NBA (proximity of Pinas and abundance of talent)
...

On the line up, we really need a more agile big like Blatche. Fajardo would be a good backup but his limited mobility would also limit the team options.

I agree with you..

But remember Blatche was an NBA player. Fajardo has cement in his feet and would never make NBA because he is too slow.

We need to develop more taller PG and SG..

No more short guard because they are a liability on defense.

That front court is great on offense but defensively will be a big liability.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of Romeo or Castro for a bigger guard player.

C; Fajardo and Sotto.
PF : Aguilar and Stanhinger
SF ; Rosario, Cruz, Jose
SG; Paras and Clarkson.
PG: Ferrer and Romeo.

Bench: The Phenom.

We need size in our team. Because most of our guards can't weave their way in they can't shoot over these big trees. That means they have give up the dribble and get stuck with no where to go. And they won't be able to make offensive rebound because they are too short.

Like for example Romeo once he shoots inside the paint and missl he is not getting it back. But a guy like Stanhinger because he is taller can grab that second rebound because of his length. He can get it back and score or get fouled.

At least if we have a bit of height. I mean we wont be the tallest team. At least we can get second attempts at offensive rebounds. Stop penetrations we will have length in their way instead of oompaloompas which they will laugh at. We can also gets some lose rebounds.

But we only do this if we get to develop bigger guards and wing man. We can't stay with this same formula. I like Romeo as an offensive player though. I would keep him because he is clutch.

Ravena hasn't proven to me he is a good back up guard so i have him on the bench.
