Spurnatics, what do you think of Gasol joining SA?........

For me, Spurs don't need Gasol. We will win back-2-back this year for sure.......
But in case, who'd complain........
Gasol's game fits SA's unselfish, international type of play........
Though not imposing individually as before, a tandem of TD-Gasol would brutalize the paint.......
With penetrators (TP, Kawhi, Manu) and snipers outside (Green, Mills, Bonner, Diaw)........
This is a guarantee folks........

Can't wait for the season to start and open every game announcing -
And now, your reigning and defending champs, the San Antonio Spurs.......

his skill set is obviously a fit for the spurs. but SA front office is not known to overspend. if they cant get him on the cheap, rumored targets marion or marvin williams could fill the last roster spot.

Bakit nga ba ganun? :D

kung pwede lang sana isabit sa rafters ng area nila yung mga news artikols nila
maybe those many write-ups help too in easing the pain of losing considering pa the huge money they've spent just to be a runner-up or max 82 games per season, pwede na rin yung mga news atm

trophy > news

Spurs veteran Matt Bonner: ‘I’m coming back’

The Spurs on Sunday took one more step towards returning the entire roster that won the 2014 NBA championship, reaching agreement with veteran free agent forward Matt Bonner on a new contract.

Bonner confirmed the deal, for one season at the 10-year veteran minimum of $1.448 million, via a text message that read: “I’m coming back.”

General manager R.C. Buford confirmed the agreement.

Bonner, 34, has been with the Spurs since 2006, longer than all his teammates except Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. A “stretch” power forward, he appeared in 61 regular season games last season, making 42.9 percent of his 3-point attempts and averaging 3.2 points per game. He played in 22 of the 23 playoff games that culminated in a championship win over the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 15.

Of the 14 players who were on the championship roster, only Aron Baynes, a restricted free agent, remains unsigned. The Spurs have the right to match any offer sheet Baynes may get.
