PBA Mythical 5 for this season features SMB teammates Junemar Fajardo, Chris Ross, Alex Cabagnot, and Arwind Santos and Ginebra slotman Japeth Aguilar...

May previous history na ba sa PBA wherein 4/5 members of Mythical team came from just one team???

San Miguel sent three players to Kia in exchange for the top pick in the upcoming draft, which could be Gilas stalwart Christian Standhardinger
AND the trade moves continue for KIA.

The Picanto has struck a rather controversial deal with powerhouse San Miguel to trade away the top overall pick in this year’s PBA rookie draft in exchange for role players JayR Reyes, Keith Agovida, and rookie Rashawn McCarthy, SPIN.ph learned from multiple sources on Saturday.

Gilas stalwart and Fil-German Christian Standhardinger is the consensus top pick for this year’s draft set Oct. 29 at the Robinson’s Place in Ermita.

Trade papers had already been submitted to the Commissioner’s Office and remains unofficial pending the approval by commissioner Chito Narvasa.

Very weak & poor reasoning as PBA commissioner.Ridiculous indeed.
Narvasa is now giving a hint that he'll approve the Kia - SMB conspiracy.
Kia has the right to determine where they wanna go? Maybe right.
But as the PBA top honcho, they need your approval before any deal must prosper.
Kia's acts lately show that they can't afford to maintain a decent team in the league,
They got Gregorio, Caneleta, Ramos, Mallari, etc. before but they kicked them out
& i believe one of the reasons could be the salary cap,
This goes to show their incapability to maintain a competetive team to win a ring.
Kia was only after hype & advertisement for their product even getting Pacquiao to achieve it.
If Narvasa will approve the deal, he'll be insulting the intelligence of the other teams & the fans.
SMB has 4 players in the Mythical Five suggesting the obvious strength of their club,
Then still in hunger to land the first pick in Standhardinger? Using its connection to claim it?
If Kia isn't capable of building a competetive team, then better to ban it from PBA membership.
Let the other qualified companies/clubs to join the already imbalanced league,
This is if Narvasa has the courage to defend the rights of the PBA fans to watch combatived games,
And if he won't succumb to the power of the rich owners & the BOC like welcome gift.
Just sayin' & i could be wrong in my opinions so my apologies. :box:

pero may exemption naman siguro for every rule... :) :D :D

gusto na yata ng SMB, lahat ng Mythical first 5 members galing na sa kanila next year. (Ross, Cabagnot, Santos, Fajardo, Standhardinger)... :)

Narvasa approves revised version of KIA-San Miguel trade for No. 1 PBA draft pick
From: Karlo Sacamos October 27, 2017, 06:24 pm

Commissioner Chito Narvasa explains his decision to reporters. Jerome Ascano

The controversial deal between Kia and San Miguel Beer is pushing through.

In a revised transaction, the Picanto gave up the No. 1 pick overall in Sunday's PBA rookie draft for veteran for Ronald Tubid, Rashwan Mccarthy, Jay-R Reyes and a first-round pick in the 2019 draft.

Commissioner Chito Narvasa approved the deal on Friday afternoon, announcing his decision in a press conference at the Philippine Arena before Game Seven of the Governors Cup Finals.

His decision came over a week after the two teams agreed on a deal that came under fire from fans, mediamen and a couple of team owners like Alaska's Wilfred Uytengsu.

The criticism, however, did not discourage Narvasa from approving a transaction that now gives San Miguel a shot at selecting Fil-German big man Christian Standhardinger in Sunday's draft.

The revised transaction is essentially not much different from the original version of the trae that involved Keith Agovida, Reyes, McCarthy, and an SMB draft pick.
