even our professional players cannot beat China from the time
of Jaworski, Patrimonio to Gilas with naturalized players.

Against powerhouse China, the score is 4-3 in China's favor in the last 7 outings. You're clueless.

We will always be the underdog if height is insufficient with Philippines players...

However, if we repeat the finals last Saturday with a neutral set of referees then the Philippines should have won the fight...

agree ako dito kay darkbayaw, talent wise Gilas has enough but our perennial issue is height.
Yes Gilas can beat China.

China have tall, talented players. Pero they are beatable! The next fiba asia held somewhere else will tell you how strong this Chinese team really is!

they dont need to participate nor bring their Team A in the next fiba asia coz they are the host of the 2019 WC..

Should be a long term program not one hit jackpot.
Train the tall young kids to play forward basketball more than backs on the board.
Position-less basketball gives general understanding of the game for the kids and better IQ going forward.

sa tingin ngayon marami marami na rin nadidiscover na matatangkad na fil-am with ceiling range of 6'6 - 6'11

it's time to scout a SG not just SG but pure SG talaga... ang nakikita ko pa lang na pure shooter sa mga rank ng fil-am ay si Matthew Wright na naglaro na rin sa u18 dati pero sabi nila ineligible siya maglaro para sa NT pero naglaro sa U18 NT naten dati...
