The Philippine Government is now implementing environment friendly programs.
Closing mining companies, investigating carbon emission of several Philippine firms.

As a result people are losing jobs, they go hungry.

and this could get worst. Everyday I followed the news in the Philippines.
and I see Filipino celebrating a mining company close.
Perhaps this people do not understand that a mining company employed hundreds if not thousand of people.
You close it and remove the source of livelihood for this people.
How is closing a mining firm good?

Mang Adme, seryoso ka dito?
Pag walang puno, walang bunga. Patay ang tao, naganga.

Protecting the environment is not really meant to preserve earth itself. Mother nature will surely recover as it has shown through times. No amount of plastics and pollutants can destroy the world. Earth has been restoring itself for millions of years now, that's a fact. Now why do we have to be concerned in protecting the environment? It's for selfish reason: to preserve the existence of human species. Yung mga pollutants kayang kaya iyan ng inang kalikasan, pero kaya bang itake yan ng mga baga nyo. Yung dinasour nga hindi umubra eh. Buti nlng mas may utak ang tao...

Tree is a symbol...

kaya me salitang "Tree hugger".

It represents natural features such as streams, rocks, wildlife etc...

Just read. Where did the CHR file the complaint? What was the complaint about and what do they expect in the ruling if any? Mining was not even mentioned but you said in your post that we'll lose jobs if they closed. Why would they close? The article is to generalized. The CHR cannot even go after jabezj "extra judicial killing". How could they be taken seriously. BTW, CHR is an independent constitutional body. It is not under the office of the President. The article is written as if it is the President who filed the "complaint" whatever that is.

That is why I said the Philippine Government. This should serve as a warning.
Cause I have seen this happening elsewhere in the world including the United States.

Because of this green house emission regulations. Companies goes bankrupt.
all in the name of climate change.

Thus I asked, are trees more important than people?

Adme, siguro hindi mo nabasa yung tungkol sa carbon emission na comment ni digong nung kinausap siya ng isang ambassador.

Duterte to envoy: PHL won’t honor pact on reduced carbon emissions

There is this space in my heart for someone like Admerald really.

he is tenacious and wont bow to anyone in defending in what he believed in...

sana magkaron ako ng matapat na kaibigan na kagaya mo. you are unbowed. grabe.

on the negative and i am sure he will disagree and for lack of a better word and for simply just trying to communicate what i mean. he is kinda gullible to the max.

nabasa ko yan ICB. kaya pinapurihan ko si Digong diyan, and I posted it here.

Pero Nabasa ko din the next day, Duterte commenting on climate change, and he contradicted what he said the other day.
