So ano ngayon if hindi approved sa Europe ang Dengvaxia?
Mali ba kung mag clinical trial sa Pilipinas at may mga collateral damage?
Ilan lang naman ang namatay...
Let's sa 100 lang...
What's 100 compared to 800k na nabakunahan...
That's just 0.125%...
So nasa 99.9875% pa rin ang success rate...

LOL.. sabihin mo ulit yan pag sa kakilala o pamilya mo nangyari yan.. wag naman sana..

House panels clear Noy on Dengvaxia
Jess Diaz (The Philippine Star) - August 15, 2018 - 12:00am

MANILA, Philippines — Two committees of the House of Representatives are clearing former president Benigno Aquino III on the dengue vaccination program in 2016 and the use of the controversial vaccine Dengvaxia.

The program “was a judgment call on the part of the previous administration in its effort to respond to what they call an alarming rise in dengue cases in the country,” the two committees said in a draft report presented yesterday during a meeting of the two panels.

“Indeed, the morbidity and mortality data at the time showed that dengue has become a worrisome monster killing hundreds of Filipinos… The action of the administration at the time to implement a dengue vaccination program was unquestionable,” the report stated.

The committee on good government and public accountability, and the committee on health, chaired by Reps. Johnny Pimentel of Surigao del Sur and Angelina Tan of Quezon, respectively, came up with their report after months of hearings.

They noted that the Duterte administration continued the program “and even expanded it to include Region VII (Central Visayas).”

Dengue victim in PAO complaint didn’t get Dengvaxia, document shows
Published August 27, 2018 10:17pm

One of the public school children who died of dengue even after reportedly being given Dengvaxia didn't get the anti-dengue vaccine shots as alleged by the Public Attorney's Office, a document from the Department of Health has indicated.

According to Chino Gaston's report on "State of the Nation", a certification from the city health office of Antipolo showed that 13-year-old Jazzmine Alimagno didn't get any Dengvaxia shot because she didn't have her parent's consent.

Alimagno died in January of dengue.

Chief Public Attorney Persida Acosta, however, said the respondents in the case should just answer the complaint related to Alimagno's death.

The PAO has filed several complaints in connection with the deaths supposedly related to Dengvaxia.

Acosta said not all persons who received Dengvaxia shots got an immunization card.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque questioned Acosta's statement.

"Kanino ba ang burden of proof? Ngayon ang tanong ko, what if anybody just comes there and then, you know, sabihin na nabakunahan kahit hindi," Duque said.

"How will we find out kung nabakunahan o hindi? Parang mahirap naman yata yun," he added.

The DOH has repeatedly said that there was not enough evidence to link certain school children's dengue-related deaths to Dengvaxia. —NB, GMA News

Duterte to name experts picked to probe Dengvaxia mess: DOH

Anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia

MANILA, Philippines —President Rodrigo Duterte has selected three experts to form the Asian panel who will investigate the effects of the controversial vaccine, Dengvaxia.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque said the information may likely be made public next week after the arrival of Duterte on Sunday (September 9) from his historic visit to Israel and Jordan.

Malacañang mentioned before that the President will pick three among the recommended experts from Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.

“Part of the presidential directive is, those members of the panel, the experts, must come from the countries where the Dengvaxia immunization program was also implemented,” said Duque.

He added that the investigation by the Asian panel of experts on Dengvaxia is expected to be completed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the Health Department expressed gratitude to Congress for passing the P1.161 billion supplemental budget.

“ We are very gratified and thanks to the House and the Senate for their most positive decision to pass and approve this bill,” he said.

This will be used to finance the medical needs of the children who were inoculated with Dengvaxia vaccine.

Secretary Duque noted that around 900,000 people were injected with the anti-dengue vaccine and most of them are children. – Rosalie Coz
