Note that the intent is Continuing Professional Development...
Pero ayaw i-acknowledge ang mga trainings dahil not from accredited organizations??
I have trainings that I doubt organizations can give...or will even give to help develop my professional life...

May training ako dati wherein si Capt. Marcial Amaro III (sacked MARINA Administrator) ang instructor...
5 days training about barko, IMO, safety, etc...
And I am not even a seaman...
And because that training is not in line with my profession, I am no longer continuing my professional development???

mang jabz, pwede naman yang training from non-accredited CPD provider, I-apply mo sa PRC as self-directed learning para mabigyan ng CPD units. may form sa PRC on how to earn cpd points from that saka me babayaran na fees.

sa local organization namin, we have zumba activities, sportsfest, tree planting activities and similar activities na nabibigyan ng equivalent CPD units. yun lang at mga 45 days before the activities, kailangan ma approve ng CPD Council ng PRC ang activity na necessary sa professional and individual growth yun. kung maganda ang write-up, mabilis naming ma approve

Mahirap gawin yan mang Jabz,

At saka pag may trabaho ka na, yong spare time
mo , dayoffs at vacation days , you'll want to spend it with
your friends and family.

So I would say No to CPD! :D

It is a law na mang tamby...
Kaya if you are planning to renew your engineering license dito sa Pinas, you will be required to produce CPD points..
If not, then hindi ka ire-renew...

Gocha.

it's not for everyone then.

right now, we are developing a website para sa webinar. the idea was already approved by PRC

simple lang ang sistema. online seminar lang

yung pool of speakers, mag video recording ng kanyang talk (sessions). usually 2 hours equivalent for 3 CPD units

para makapasok sa recorded session, the person will enroll by paying P1,680 (P1,500 + 12% VAT) via credit card or paypal or e-banking etc. then ma oopen yung session. anytime, anywhere, you can access that site sa web

after the 2-hour session, may exam based from the topic discussed. good for 10 to 15 mins.

I chose to side with the provider.

btw, i'm one of the online speakers

so better think of strategy on how to make the most of it
kaya we decided to put up a CPD provider accredited ng PRC

This is BS. I don't need this scam. Thank goodness, my journey as an entrepreneur has been an amazing experience, truly satisfying, I can also enjoy the rewards of being a frequent flyer on nearly every major route in the world with some women of substance.
