I go for Diaz on this one. I'm Pinoy too, but my 2 cents says Diaz will KTFO of Suico.

No matter how I look at it, there's definitely no chance at all of Suico outpointing a very polished fighter in Diaz. That said, I think Suico should impose a "BAHALA NA" type of strategy going for the mid-section early on and not immediately going for the killer punch, like what Mayol did during his first crack at the WBC minimumweight title, even if it would mean also getting hit in the process. This will gradually slow Diaz down, giving a fighting chance for Suico to go for the kill in the later rounds. He will definitely get hit and he should be ready for that. My only hope is that cuts won't ensue and might halt this fight. Survival is the name of the game. Suico hasn't been stopped, and I think no one has been able to knock him down (correct me if I'm wrong)...

same thoughts bro!!!
:smoke:

Yeah, I'm quite optimistic about this fight. :D

Are you suggesting that he will be able to stop Suico?

I'm afraid so imo.

Probably due to cuts... but put him down on the canvass, I guess not. Well, Diaz is experienced alright, but I don't think Suico's power is something to be neglected. I just hope Randy will prove all the doubters wrong...

Its true Suico's power is incredible. But poor in fight strategy. Maybe the coach has to be blame or Suico himself. I believe in Boxing you have to be smart also.

That's why I'm suggesting a simple strategy for him above if you might check...

if it goes the distance, suico wud get his usual slow flat-foot stance and the volume-punching and accurate-punching diaz wud wear him down althroughout the 12 rounds with consistency and will eventually win via a late round TKO or a UD... but if they go toe-to-toe in the early rounds, i'll go for suico via a KO under 6 rounds...

Sometimes predictions are tricky since you do not have an idea what each fighter may do on top of the ring on fight day. You can only make strong guesses on the basis of history. Not much different from driving a car forward using the rearview mirror.

Anyway, Randy's camp should first think of the basics before going deeper into techniques. First is conditioning. Randy should have the stamina to go into a 12 round brawl. This is non-negotiable and very important.

Next, Randy must know his enemy. He must know how Diaz fights, his style, his strength and weakness and how he can counter them. It is very difficult to topple a very strong enemy on top of the ring without even knowing how he fights beforehand.

Third, is mental preparation. Randy must believe he can win this fight. Since this is a championship battle, Randy is well-motivated and a very hungry fighter who has been waiting for this break.

Randy Suico will not survive and come out on top in this fight by hope and prayers alone. Preparation and willpower are as important too.

i predict a 10 rnd tko 4 suico... diaz is a slugger and slugers are custom made for suico.... uppercut will be the signature punch on this one ... diaz rush his oponents and loads punches with his defense falling out ... suico never been knockout on his carreer has a granite chin... :swordplay: :toast: :celebrate:

This is gonna be happen on the fight between our countrymen randy suico he will upset the world and crown to be a new wba lightweight champion of the world..... if suico losses its because he was accidentally headbutt by diaz.... diaz stands 5-6 while suico has height advantages in this fight if suico can connect a clearly solid punch to diaz and so its over..... you now ill pick diaz to win a unanimous decision.... but it will never happen because suico can finish him off quickly.... ill pick suico to win a convincing tko for sure...........

suico go go go more power!!!!!!!! may the lord shower you energy and power.......................... goodluck!!!!!!!!!!!!
