Mayol is not fighting too because of this. So what now? Is that a good move by Mayol & Koncz?

No worries for Mayol, a fight for the vacant title will be announced soon and the gud thing is, Mayol's booked for that fight. :)

for the protection of the fighter, koncz made the right move... mayol should not be again sacrifice to a lion den... mayol suffered a devastating loss due to this situation...
kudos to koncz on protecting his fighter...

No, I dont think Koncz ever protected Mayol in this. I have read from one article in the front page that the Mexicans offered Team Mayol extra money to make Rodel fight. Team Mayol was definite in their decision not to fight, except Koncz who later offered the IBF rule of penalty for every pound in excess. The article also mentioned that it is common in Mexico that there is no fight contract, everything is verbal. Mayol initially was offered to fight Marquez for 25,000 dollars, but later reduced to 20,000 dollars by this leech Koncs. But Mayol still accepted the fight. Cheated again in the weighing scale and here comes Koncz again pretending to be the protector, err false protector with dollars in mind.

LMAO @ writers who jumped the gun praising that rat Koncz...looks like Koncz was begging or trying to convince Mayol to take the fight anyway (because Koncz is probably losing some big money himself, he doesnt care about the fighter)

I cant fault Mayol for not fighting someone who is willing to cheat at the weigh in. Although it would be courageous of him to take the fight anyway. Making weight is part of the fight...its half the battle

shame on those Mexi-cheats

Mayol learned his lesson from his loss against Adrian Hernandez. Hernandez was the last minute substitute if I'm not mistaken and weigh around 122~126 vs Mayol at 112. Mayol was KTFO. Correct me if I'm wrong.
