that's why an upset win is his only hope.

Bum bum was schooled by Ruiz, his face was red and swollen due to ruiz counters, he got lucky coz the fight was held in the philippines he was able to pull a split decision..But the fact will always remain that Bum bum is still a bum, nothing special, no lateral movement, no footwork, telegraph punches, etc..ALA sinabi.

Let him fight for another world title fight..and if he will lose again..it will be the end of Boom boom era like AJ banal who lost twice already in world title fights...then let Donnie Nietes and Milan Melindo banner the Pinoy pride series..

Pansin ko nga ren, mas bog bog mukha ni bom bom kaysa kay Ruiz.

Is boom boom ready? no he's not, but he needs to fight for a world title if there's an opportunity because he is not an improving fighter and it won't really matter if he gets more preparation and tune up fights before a world championship.

no. he must have to win either in an interim, an eliminator or any of the top 5 contenders before fighting the championship. don't be like banal. ALA's idea to let aj rise to number one contender w/o beating any of the top five was a smart thing...look what happened. be like the battle tested ponce de leon. he is a champ again but prior to the championship, he had lots of losses against champs and top contenders.
