Forget about Sergio Martinez, he is too big for Manny. Sergio should fight at 168, instead of challenging smaller fighters, if he keeps complaining about the lack of quality oppositions. It is not to mean that Manny can not beat him or that Manny will not be willing to fight him. There are a lot of boxers with big hearts and Manny probably has the biggest of them. I admire Adamek for fighting Vitali K because he is probably a natural cruiserweight who fought a big big heavyweight, the same reason I'm forever a fan of Gerry Penalosa (fighting Juan Poce Deleon and Juan Manuel Lopez). Having said that, fighting Martinez is too much of a health risk for Manny to take at the tail end of his career. Manny needs to enjoy his life after boxing.

After his fight with Marquez and before he retires and if we are living in a perfect world, Manny should fight Mayweather at least two times. We all know that Mayweather will probably leave this world without fighting Manny. With this, Manny's list of credible opponents are listed below with estimate purses for each fight.

1. Tim Bradley - This seems to be the next fight. To be more appealing and competitive, Manny can fight him at 140#. This will be more appealing to the fans and will give him a chance to earn a belt from a major boxing organization (in addition to Hatton's IBO belt). Manny can beat Bradley even at 135# and with Manny's weight and routine, he can easily make 140# without sacrificing anything. If Arum pays Manny $20M, he probably will not make a lot of money. Bradley will probably ask for $2.5M. (Estimated Guaranteed Money: $20M)

2. Miguel Cotto at 154#(no catchweight), assuming he beats Margarito - A rematch with Cotto will be very lucrative if he beats Margarito. It will erase the catchweight issue at 145 and 154. This fight can buy time for the other fights below in which the boxers need a little time and maturing. This will retire Cotto for good. Puerto Ricans will always support Cotto and this will probably generate 100K PPV buys in Puerto Rico alone. (Estimated Guaranteed Money: $20M)

3. Amir Khan at 147 - Forget about friendship. Khan wants to fight Manny and boxing is a businesss. This fight can be done in England or Dubai where Khan has supporters. This might be a difficult fight for Manny since Khan will probably do a Mayweather in this bout but it sure is a good fight until the very end. This fight can be staged in Dubai where Arum can easily find sponsors and where Khan and Manny have legions of supporters. This fight in England will not be bad either. This will make Manny an even bigger world-wide star. England is a big market that's why NFL teams go there. (Estimated Guaranteed Money: $25M)

4. Saul Alvarez at 154# - This will unify two belts and it will be a big money fight even for Manny. This will solidify Manny's stature at 154 as well and is probably the easiest fight for him amongst the boxers listed here. This fight can be done in Mexico in honor of all the Mexicans who adore Pacquiao like their own OR in Vegas.(Estimated Guaranteed Money: 25M)

5. Julio Cesar Chavez JR at 160# - A farewell fight in Vegas or Mexico suppoted by the Mexican billionaire will surely create a lot of excitement. If Manny is to fight at middleweight, this is the fight to have. JCC Jr has a belt and the name. Manny will be giving away at least 20# here but will not put himself in a lot of danger compared to a fight with Martinez and for more money. If he loses, it's a "passing of the torch" fight for him. If he wins at 160 (no catch weight), he can retire and capture his 9th division title.(Estimated Guaranteed Money: $30-35M)

If you notice, with the exception of a fight with Cotto (which can be scratched off the list if he loses to Masrgarito), all of these fights will be against undefeated fighters with more than 25 wins. These fighters are all young and talented and with the exception of Bradley, they all have big names. This will erase at least some notions that he just fought "veterans and high-mileage" fighters. There are no other fights out there for Manny that can give him more than what these fights will give him. After these 4 or 5 fights, he can hang up his gloves with all his riches and his health intact and enjoy his kids and be a senator of the Philippines.

Just one final request idol, PLEASE DO NOT RUN FOR PRESIDENT. YOU ARE THE BEST BOXER THAT EVER LIVED BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU OUR BEST AVAILABLE CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT.

Manny doesn't need to go down to 140 just to fight bradley. Pacquiao vs Bradley is not appealing at the moment. Bradley needs to climb up 147 and get a belt. Maybe he can fight Berto first. If he grabs Berto's belt, then Pacquiao vs Bradley would be a big fight

Manny will have all the advantages against Bradley at 147 and will not be giving up anything at 140. He weighed 143 against Marquez without even trying. At 140, the fight becomes interesting and more saleable. It will also give him a chance to get a legitimate belt at 140.
