FRENCH OPEN QUARTERFINALS

First Half of the Draw
Roger Federer SUI (1)
v
Robin Soderling SWE (5)

Tomas Berdych CZE (15)
v
Mikhail Youzhny RUS (11)

Second Half of the Draw
Jurgen Melzer AUT (22)
v
Novak Djokovic SRB (3)

Nicolas Almagro ESP (19)
v
Rafael Nadal ESP (2)

The road is again clear for both players. Federer and Nadal will probably meet in the Finals. Federer doesn't have a real test in his draw while Nadal still needs to battle Djokovic should the latter prevail in his match.

federer has the upperhand against soderling form last years final. the genius of tennis can still compete at another level. however, i'm not so sure about him against nadal. nadal will always play his best against federer in many matches between them mostly in the grandslam.

it's no brainer, rafa's gonna reclaim the title. not even a federer can beat a healthy rafa on the red surface.

Sharapova was beaten by Justin Henin, and Henin was beaten by Stosur.

Congratulations Rezai you have displayed amazing ground strokes defeating Venus Williams in yesterday's Madrid Open Championship, 6-2; 7-5.

TENNIS TODAY:

FRENCH OPEN SEMIFINAL

Soderling defeated from the genius of tennis Federer. this upset was huge since federer is the defending champion and him being denied a repeat.

robin will face T.Berdych in the semis.

Djokovic and nadal will still battle for their spot in the semi final. I will still stand firm that d'joker and nadal will meet in the next round.

the king of clay nadal is now the clear favorite to win the clay, of course.

Now that Roger is out, I'm rooting for Rafa or Novak to win the grandslam.
