To me the best quote goes to Emmanuel Stewart, when he said in the 5th round, "Pacquiao has been throwing that right cross with increasing accuracy."

"Ortiz told me I'm going to be champion for a long time," said Viloria, still choking back the tears after winning the title 30 minutes later.

If you can get past guys like Velasquez then you are officially a contender. If you can dominate and knock them out then you are a superstar. Manny just proved what we already knew, he is something special. - Brian Wilbur

here are some of the good ones...

"(Pacquiao) one of the most vicious finisher of the sport" - Jim Lampley

"I was very impressed tonight, his punching power, stamina...everything! especially the right hook!" - Emmanuel Steward

and the usual....

"Ingat sa ulo...ingat sa ulo niya, blah, blah, blah, blah" - the always annoying sidekick of Manny who keeps on distracting Freddie Roach from giving instructions

There's also one time in between rounds, the cameraman first took a glimpse on hector's corner and all the people on his corner are talking to him while freddie on the otherhand was wipping manny in his corner and not saying anything. I heard the commentator saying "Hmm.. that was a pretty interesting conversation" and the impression made on the commentators is Freddie ran out of filipino words to tell manny. hehhe. well the fact is, eversince manny & freddie has been working out in isolation, they began to learn to communicate with their mind. it could be the "Force" is with them. hmm.. interesting. LOL.
