He didn't need to.
He wanted Velas to lunge at him.
Besides, Velas was waiting most of the time after the third round.

may time din naman na ng-LATERAL movement si Pacquiao. Nung nag-right uppercut siya...pero nung mga later rounds na...nanggigil na rin...

The recent fight of manny with velasquez maybe termed as vengeance against "mayabang" na mexican... it all proved that Filipino boxer beats mexican in a fair-play bouts...sana matauhan si murad..hehehe

I'm afraid if manny will be very overconfident in the remath bet. him and morales. Morales should never be understimated, he just getting slow because he go up another weight division but at 130 his quickness and speed will come back. I'm not satisfied with manny's performance. If he will not improved more he will have problem with erik morales.

yup he sure did. No bobbing and weaving like he did against JMM. He got hit w/ the right hand one too many times against a slower dude.

I think you can't compare his performance against the other opponent. Just like MANNY said in one of his interview that, your fighting movement will be different to each and every opponents because you are matching your opponents movements and fighting skills.
