TARGETTING MORALES' WEAK SPOTS

Image

Per my observation, the following are Morales' weak body spots:

1. Lower right of his abdomen. Obviously, Erik seemed hurt whenever
Manny hit him hard here in their first fight. Erik backs away and stoops
down to protect it. But when Manny misses the mark, Erik counters
with a hard right to the face of Manny who immediately backs away.
Manny's got to really make some adjustments on how to hit this
area effectively with a variety of moves. In their fight, Manny always
got hit first before he was able to hit this area.

2. Lower left of his abdomen. This is the area which is open most of the
time whenever he delivers those jabs. But Manny wasnt able to
land punches in here.

3. Middle of the stomach - same comment as no.2.

4. Below the chin. Roach is trying to perfect Manny's upper cut. Maybe
Roach thinks more than a couple of punches in this area will rock
Morales to force him to leave the body more open for Manny's
attack.

5. Middle of the face (nose) - Manny's dreaded straight left will most
probably left Morales' face bloodied with blood oozing down the nose.
Some observers say Morales' nose is not as strong as his chin.
Just what Manny did with Ledwaba.

So far, as of this time, most observers say that Manny's plan should be
to wear Morales down first by storming first the body and implement
the knockout plan in the later rounds.

How Manny will be able to do this is the team's secret.

Morales, i think, will maintain the distance throughout the fight, jabbing.
Pacquiao will have a hard time again reaching him trying to deliver hard
punches and most of the time missing the mark. This might tire Pacquiao
again. Morales will maintain that 12 inch distance from his foot to Manny's
foot. Manny will try to avoid getting a headbutt.

Manny, i think, will have to follow what Barrera did, attack immediately
in the first opening bell. This is the only way to wear down the durable
Morales in the later rounds but Manny's got to have a much better stamina
and defense this time.

Another known weakness of Morales is the 'Machismo' factor. He is known
to be easily dragged into a toe-to-toe fight if prompted. Manny can exploit
this area to his advantage. But Manny's got to have a good judgment of timing it and, of course, excellent defense again.

Im not an expert. Just a piece of a boxing fan.

Have fun, guys!

Tickle Morales' balls by giving him some borderline low blows. Maybe this will let out Morales' "Machismo" image...

Don't forget according to compubox, Manny beat Morales last time with power punches but was beaten severely with jabs. He should keep that right hand up just like before.
