I always feel down when a Pinoy boxer loses especially when he's beaten up very badly, but for some odd reason, I don't feel that sad for Gerry's loss, because instead of feeling pity and sadness. I have an even greater respect, Gerry showed an awesome chin, he showed Filipino heart, a fighting Pinoy spirit, that not even the younger, skilled, Juanma, could ever take away from Gerry. Though he didn't win the fight, in my eyes, he still has the Filipino boxing fans behind him for his performance in showing that although older, his ring name 'fearless' shows that it is not just any name that thrown around but he embodies that title. I'm still sad that he lost, but I'll talk about Gerry whenever Pinoy boxers come into discussion. This was actually my first Gerry fight, I hope his nephew in Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr, can carry on the warrior surname that is the Penalosa warrior spirit.

God bless you Gerry
