http://www.examiner.com/filipino-sports ... oxing-fansWhen ESPN's Tony Reali mentioned Mayweather's announcement about fighting Ortiz on the show 'Around the Horn', he described Mayweather's opponent as 'AKA Not Manny Pacquiao'. ESPN analyst Michael Wilbon calls Mayweather a 'coward' for avoiding Pacquiao. And when Mayweather is asked about fighting Pacquiao, he either stutters, dodges the question, denies negotiations ever happened despite HBO officials refuting his claim, brings out drug testing or avoids mentioning Pacquiao's name altogether.
While Pacquiao graces covers of Time Magazine, TV commercials, Nike billboards, most of Mayweather's publicity is coming mostly from TMZ for the wrong reasons. Imagine Pacquiao going from being covered by every major media outlet getting all the high praise, to simply doing exclusives with me here at Examiner.com and all he does is brag about his riches and talk badly about another fighter, I'd be the first to tell Pacquiao himself "Wow! How far you've fallen." From getting respect and coverage from majority of media outlets like the aforementioned ESPN, Ring Magazine et. al, now all the respect he gets is from a blog site that might very well consider changing it's name to FloydHype.com.
