Does it mean Gorres will not be allowed to box again if he survive this one?

Didn't Amonsot have a similar injury? He was able to make a comeback after a year or two.

Barrera also has a metal plate in his head... maybe there hope for gorres to return, but highly unlikely.

It might be.. unless they put a metal plate inside his skull just like Marco Antonio Barrera. Nevertheless, he'll never be the same again. A sorry loss for one of the boxing's upcoming great warrior.

Gorres' injury is a lot more severe than that of Czar's..Gorres will be very lucky if he survive this one...I should say it's definitely the end of his fighting career...

But I'm still a little surprise by how he suffered the injury..I mean I watched the fight,and he got hit clean only once that put him down...Can any expert explain this,?It was just one punch,i thought one will suffer this kind of injury through receiving cumulative blows round after round..

Sometimes all it takes is one punch. That's the same reason Cotto's corner came under fire for allowing to fight and also the same reason Kenny Bayless stopped the fight instead of letting Miguel finish the fight. All it takes is one punch.
