just want to share the prototype of entry level gaming mouse that i have developed with my team (online FPS players).

Metalwolf Gaming Mouse (name from my son's IGN metalwolf_0319 game: Blackshot online FPS)

Image

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=09ROyk5_7kQ

* 800 / 1600 / 2400 DPI
* rapid fire on/off switch
* 5,000,000 button click life cycle
* blue laser light
* Comfortable design (palm grip, claw grip and finger grip)

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

* mouse shell carefully selected one of the most comfortable models suitable for (palm grip, claw grip and finger grip).
* rapid fire switch well positioned for easy activation. no annoying buttons on the side and won't disturb your game play.
* rapid fire speed rate, carefully adjusted for FPS games.
* rapid fire is hardware base no software needed for its feature. good for online gaming.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

target markets are gaming cafe's and casual gamers.

almost ready na ako for mass production, finalize ko na lang ang logo and color (top shell rubber-coated matte black).

estimated selling price ko is 350-400 pesos.

i'm still open for feedback and suggestions.

mouse shell and parts are from china with good ABS plastic (not CDR king quality). this prototype is a Frankenstein mouse from different mouse that i bought (laser, micro switch, etc). creating my own shell is not feasible yet (8k - 12k US dollars just for the mold).

where can I buy these? 400 pesos only? sell it at 500, then give 20% discount to Paclanders.

parating pa lang dude. hopefully within the month of august hinihintay ko pa yung mouse board na pinagawa ko for testing.

pangit kasi yung board ko, manual ko lang ginawa using pcb and pentle pen.

kung may kilala pala kayo murang shipping method, baka mas maibaba ko pa yung price.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

sample game play ko pala using this mouse. just to demonstrate na yung semi-auto rifle pwede gawing full auto.

noob pa din, pero pwede na.

some clarifications:

is it programmable? ex. can i change the rapid fire speed, button assignments, etc.
where is the rapid fire button located? index finger of the thumb rest area?
is the dpi changeable on the fly (or in game)? how do i change it?

2400 dpi is too slow for me. can you make it go to the 3600 - 5400 dpi range?

willing to try it on COD: MW3.

rapid fire on/off switch located at thumb area for easy access. left mouse button from single click converted to rapid fire. i tried putting a dedicated rapid fire button near the scroll wheel (like 2x click of a4tech mouse). tested it on a LAN shop and other users are having a hard time reaching the button because of their griping style.

not programmable. rapid fire speed is fixed, adjusted not to affect other weapons. DPI adjustment changeable in the fly (back of scroll wheel).

since my target market are gaming cafe and casual gamers. i choose 2400 DPI max only for pricing consideration.

3200 DPI is possible for the board that i design. i'm not yet satisfied on its reaction speed for 3200 DPI so i lowered it to 2400 DPI settings only.
