Jerwin Ancajas is the dawn of a great filipino boxing champion similar to Manny if he has discipline and good business savvy

Include weight savvy there. I noticed during the weigh in with Conlan that he looked wan and dehydrated. In fact after the weigh in, he immediately drank water to rehydrate himself. I was afraid that he would be over the limit in that instant.

I think most of our boxers are not aware that during winter or in a cold place like Ireland, it is hard to shed extra pounds by sweating, unless there is a sauna nearby. The training coach should know this. It happened several times to other champions, that's why they already lost even before their fight began.

It was good that Ancajas was able to regain his strength in time for the fight and win in convincing fashion, but he should maintain his weight at least a week before the fight to avoid losing in the scales.

mukhang may galing nga itong si Ancajas...magandang simula nya, hopefully patuloy lang

minsan kasi, nadederail yun progress pag lumaki ulo, nagkabisyo, nakuntento etc.

o kaya naman, trouble sa manager, promoter, trainer etc.

good luck!

A change of trainer will be, I think. Perhaps Freddie Roach will be great

I think his current trainer is fine, Ancajas definitely looks great in both technique and stamina. Ancajas said his trainer was very good at conditioning.

Sean Gibbons will bring in Ancajas to the USA, and success would catch the eye of Top Rank or Golden Boy.

Naoya Inoue is a great challenge, both of them are body shot experts. Pacman even taught Inoue how to throw a punch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEM8VYfTGH4

A better trainer will make Pretty Boy a better and well known boxer just like Manny Pacquiao

Not necessarily, it's the promoter who will make him well known. Nobody didn't seem to care about him much last time, but now he is rising. He was really good at beating McJoe.

He can go for Roach as a trainer once he is making bigger bucks, high-profile trainers are expensive :) And we never know, maybe his trainer is better than the others, and is dedicated to just one person. Anyway, it's part of success, once he is raking in bigger bucks, these trainers will seek him out.

I'm dying to see Ancajas fights Jonas " Zorro " Sultan who defeated
John Casimero & Sonny Boy Jaro, the latter by ko.
It will be a helluvah encounter, Sultan with devastating power also
& machine gun like fists. He's andaunted against any opponent he faces.
But the problem is, both are Pinoys & fighting each other might affect the
boxing career of the loser.

His foot & hand speed are amazing. :box:

Well, Ancajas better go for Kal Yafai or Inoue, and relinquish the IBF belt for Sultan :)

No point in fighting someone who is less well known as Pretty Boy. Follow what Manny did. Fight the better known boxer preferably in the US where the market is.
