Why general admission in Araneta Coliseum is not filled during the PACMAN-Larios fight? Just asking.

Not true.

I was there.

The bleachers are full and you could see the most upper GenAd seat filled with standing people.

Who cares if it's free? I'm still part of history. Hahaha! :D

Araneta was filled 90%... When Manny fights abroad there were some Mexican contingents, unlike here in the Phil. no Mexicans bother to watch his fight. All audience were FIlipinos...

Lol! Araneta Coliseum was not full as seen on TV. And also confirmed by Col. Bob Sheridan. But I can't understand why some people have to argue that Araneta was full. What's the effect to them if its full or not? :smoke:

Pathetic wowowee fans. :biglaugh:

It's obvious the coliseum wasn't full on the fight. Parang nakakahiya kasi viewed kung ano "tayo" sa worldwide television... na can't afford ang mga pinoy. Sana binabaan man lang ng kahit 10K ang tickets... regalo na lang sana ng ABS sa taong bayan.

I can assure you that ABS-CBN are scratching their heads now.

And the truth is...the station played philantropist on fight day by giving
away all unsold tickets to their staff, friends and sponsors.

The bleachers should have been filled up because all the tickets there
were given away free in their promo. The problem was some of the
winners dont really like boxing or lives far away and just joined the texting
promo for fun. If the tickets were given away to those who really want it,
it will be filled-up and that section would have been with the most
enthusiastic cheers and craziest show of emotions in support of Pacquiao.

The Pacquiao fans who really want it were deprived by making the
ticket prices unaffordable and when pressured to lower the prices for the
topmost section, raffled it off to include non-boxing fans.

And im sure the wildest and most emotional cheers came from the
cinema ppvs.

ABS CBN - philantropist?

The TFC PPV covers the millions of filipinos abroad who subscribed to this channel. Middle east alone could deluge ABS CBN with oil money from its big subscribers base there.

Don't have any idea how big the coverage of of this fight unless you have been outside this country.

20000 paying fans is nowhere the average price of 25 USD the subcribers pays outside the Phils.

Also, TFC PPV is playing commercial during the fight like WEstern Union, Mama Sitas etc.

If it's all about money and rating count them in.
