i havnt actually seen the manny vs oscar larios fight but from reading reports from this site it sounded like a bit of a pasting. was it similar to the manny vs barrera fight when marco was annihilated by mannys speed and power? or was it like the gatti vs mayweather fight where manny just outclassed his opponent with his superior skills?

Barrera never really hurt Manny in their fight.

Larios almost knocked out Manny in their fight.

You weigh the difference.

Also, Larios was actually fighting back, MAB gave up half way forcing his little brother to throw in the towel 8)

i read tht larios hurt manny with a left hook, was close to KD, and had gd period of 30 seconds in round 3 but then manny took the control of the rest of the round. i never knew he was close to KO manny but obv i havnt seen the fight and the press dont always print accurate fight reports.

chololo did a MUCH better job in defending himself and actually had PAC in trouble in the 3rd round...

and he was much more gracious in defeat

I don't know about you guys but I think Larios was able to overcome (most of the time) the heavy punches that Pac gave him and even gave some punches of his own that made Pac's legs wobble. But on the Barrera fight, Pac seems to have it easier that Barrera wasn't able to defend shots from different angles. That's why I like to see a Pac-MAB match again soon instead of Pac-MoralesIII. Heheh, my PPV singking fund is not for rerun fights.

Personally, Larios is much better than MAB. The fight is so different.

if you got to watch the pacquiao-barrera, it is the most embarassing fight you will see considering that barrera back then was one of the price fighter in the featherweight division.

Barrera hurt Manny on the 7th round. Manny was on the ropes then Barrera rushes him with rights and lefts.

If my school had done stuff like that then mebbe a few more people would have done PE rather than do what most of us did and go to the chippy instead... altho there was some excercise involved in walking there and back
