Toney against a lot of people.

he did? hindi halata bro....hindi ko man lang napansin kahit konti...hehehe

Toney was so fat against Roy Jones, they took him to the hospital to get blood drawn b/c he wasn't going to make weight.
He made weight and was whupped.
He then went nuts on his female manager. He felt she should have negotiated for a higher weight limit.
But, they fought for the lt.heavy belt.

May i ask the boxing experts?...Please name me a boxer who shed off at least 30 lbs for a fight and won.Erik Morales has done this but unfortunately he lost terribly by a 3rd round knockout to Manny Pacquiao.ERIK is 30 years old.

hey dude i thought you wont post anything anymore? you even asked the moderators to delete all of your threads..

anyway, back to your question. a lot of fighters shed of 30lbs or more for a fight and won. you see, boxers tend to be overweight especially when they are not training.

Roy Jones lost 40 pounds for the Jones - Tarver I. He came down from heavyweight after a fight with John Ruiz to fight Tarver. Jones won by decision against Tarver in that fight. Jones was over 30 years old when this fight took place. Jones had been up against the best in his division, he had beat James Toney, Bernard Hopkins etc.

In short, pound for pound Morales is no Roy Jones, Jr.

Roberto Duran used to do that all the time, and there was a Ring boxing writer said that it prolonged his career because he was burning fat.

His name is Samuel Peters when he fought James toney. Peters must of lost between 20-30 pds at least going into that fight.
