What made Velocity look bad is when they started claiming that we are going to see a better, stronger, faster Morales after the high-tech preparations. And the 'better' morales lasted only 3 rounds....The training for both camps is like Rocky vs. Ivan Drago...hi-tech vs. lo-tech..and we know who won :D

It was good business, as others have said, for Morales to pay $75,000.00 vs. $500,000.00 per pound if overweight. The extra hype also helped sell tickets & views and made both fighters money in the long run. It is just Manny's time now and we should not diminish this fight or we take something away from the credibility of the win. Somehow, I imagine that Freddy Roach already uses many of the Velocity techniques without knowing he is doing so. He could probably sell his program as well as Velocity does except they cater more to non-impact sports and to actors trying to stay buff for their careers. It was not a matter of science vs. old school. Rather it was a matter of the best fighter against one just a bit past his prime, but one who will still be a first ballot hall-of-famer. Remember, the better Morales is regarded, the more money Manny stands to make in the future.

NigNiz...what does HaHa mean to this thread? Why don't you make a real statement instead of just trying to raise your post number with nonsense posts?

Velocity techniques are not original. They could be scientific but sometimes they are not applicable to boxing like what was found in the recent fight. What did Velocity do that Morales didn't know? Nutrition? Maximum heart rate? Lumang tutugin na yan. Sa cycling nga meron na yan e.

That money just flew out the window.

It all come to waste on Erik's part. Because all
that time spent with Velocity rendered him use-
less under Pacman's wicked attack.
