Heroe is a Pac hater, but come Oct. 6, he'll order the ppv. I heard Mijares' punching bag, aka Jorge Arce, is in the undercard.

Wasn't there a survey on here and I am sure on other websites...that the majority of people wanted a PAC-MAB rematch?

I just found out about the solidification of the Pacquiao-Barrera rematch. I must say I am extremely disappointed, as I believed Pacquiao wanted to fight the best fighters in the world. The reason behind the failure to make other big fights happen was the rivalry between the two promoters. However, now that a settlement was reached they try to cram this fight down our throats. Well, I definitely won't be buying this PPV fight.

One this is very clear at this point: Pacquiao is becoming a total puzzy. He challenges Diaz, then runs and hides once the challenged is accepted. He then declares that Soto and Barrera are no match for him, only to end up fighting the weaker of these two fighters. Good job, Mrs. Pacquiao.

Carnal Señor Heroe, this fight is not about PAC ... This fight is all about your hero Barrera ... It's a do or retire fight for Barrera ... Barrera should show to the boxing world that he still has the skills and guts to stand in front of the top guns in the super featherweight division ... If PAC was 4 to 1 underdog in the first fight, Barrera, IMO will get the same underdog odds or maybe a 3 to 1 underdog ... Barrera will be treated like a prospect here ... He should show that he can battle the top dogs or else retire ...

PAC is just returning the favor to Barrera since it was Barrera who made PAC an instant superstar ... PAC is just being kind to the great Mexican Aztec boxing warrior ... And you lambasted PAC for doing that ???

I think both Pacman and Gayweather can choose their opponent. And the similarity ends there...Everything else is opposite.

Now, that's a total BS.
There was no problem between BGP and TR before Pacman signed the two contracts. Pacman was the one who made the mess, and GBP and TR are the ones who cleaned it up and made it peaceful for Pacman. Everybody knows that.

...oh common buddy, there's personal animosity between bob arum and oskee, the boxing world knows that and even the mediocre fans know it...there are several individual and groups that made top rank and gbp at peace and certainly, packy is one of them...

Personal? Did Oscar used to fight under Top Rank promotions?

"The settlement resolved other lawsuits between the companies besides just the issue of Pacquiao's promotional rights. Also settled was Arum's suit over revenue related to De La Hoya's 2006 fight with Ricardo Mayorga and Golden Boy's suit against Arum over accounting issues related to past De La Hoya bouts."

Barrera is still one of the best fighters out there. He beat up JMM even though the judges scored it for JMM.

I agree Pacquiao should fight a better fighter, I must say no more weak Mexican fighters like Barrera, Morales and Marquez. I am also disappointed that Pacquiao ended up fighting Barrera which he gave the beating of his whole career. What is the odds on this fight anyway? I remember one comment mentioned by the commentators on the first fight that the only way Barrera can beat Pacquiao on a rematch is to poison his food!!
The only positive thing for me on this fight is, this will prove Barrera that its not because he was interrupted by his training why he lost, its because Pacquiao's skills are way too much for him...I rest my case.

Hey why not set up your own promotions, signed-up Pac then allow him to chose opponents that there's no way you can recover much of your investments. Please do it my friend so that maybe that will bring good fights that everybody wants to see and surely Ill make you my personal hero.... :stump: :stump: :stump: :stump: :stump: :stump:
