The sense of strong nationalism is very evident and that's good, but don't you think "Nang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa 'Yo." is way too morbid to be used as Manny's 'slogan'?

The impression is that Manny is facing great odds in his coming fight and, literally, he will be fighting for his life.

"Ang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo" would have a different interpretation"

"Nang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa 'Yo." Why Death?

This is funny.... from what song did you get this line?

That was similar to the last line of the Lupang Hinirang, our nat'l anthem. If you take the whole last stanza, you can get a better meaning or message, that is "Our country is worth dying for"

I agree that this can be misinterpreted just as you said because of his coming fight. Especially to the international audience. I think the ad is meant to last throughout his career and further on. The targeted market, or the Filipino nation, will understand that MP is dedicating all his fights to his countrymen and not just this coming fight as you said. I think the timing of publishing the video is what might throw the international audience off and it could be too morbid for them if they do not know the Philippine natl anthem.

I dont see the point why this thread should be dealt with sarcasm. The threadstarter has an interesting topic

Kidlat sometimes people point out errors with just hints

lyrics written by the author "Nang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo"

actual lyrics from the national anthem "Ang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo"

get it? He made it sound like that Pacman is dead

To die for you...very noble but I rather see Manny alive than dead in the ring if he does lose.

Its just a typographical error. Nadagdagan lang ng N di pa pinalampas. :(

In his case that typo error is big, he killed the Pacman :)

Theres no way that Pac will gonna get killed by MAB on this fight, unless he brings a real bolo with him on the ring. ya its too morbid for PAC to use that line, its Mab who should be the one using that. Just my thought.

kidlatkamao: Are you telling me I did not know the lyrics of Lupang Hinirang? You're funny too. Perhaps you need to carefully read the lyrics of Lupang Hinirang yourself. Here's a link for you.
