I think he can want manny for as many times as he likes but there ain't gonna be a 3rd match. Nothing more to settle between these two. Unless money talks once again.

Barrera wants Pacquiao again

After being handed two lopsided losses, Marco Antonio Barrera still wants a piece of Manny Pacquiao.

The Mexican media reported recently that Barrera, who was stopped by Pacquiao in Nov. 2003 and
outpointed late last year, remains hopeful of being granted a third fight with the Filipino southpaw.

Barrera has been sounding off that he still wants to make a comeback although his future will all depend
on his promotional company Golden Boy Promotions (GBP).

Barrera said he doesn’t want to fight a farewell bout against someone who’s just going to lie down and
die but somebody who can bring the best out of him.

And the boxer he prefers to be his opponent is the Filipino boxing icon.

While a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez looks enticing, Barrera insists fight fans would rather see
him face off with Pacquiao rather than see two fighters fresh from losses duke it out.

Barrera had announced his retirement from the ring moments after losing to Pacquiao last October in
Las Vegas.

The past few weeks, there are reports circulating that GBP is planning to give him one more marquee
fight before he finally calls it quits.

no problem with that if he wanted to fight manny again. he'd be a good tune up fight in preparation for manny's next big time fight, like campbell or hatton. but MAB must realize that his purse might not be the same as the first or second encounter with pacman. bring it on. fight venue: philippines.

barrera wants to run for the last stage of his career, he will not run for politics, he wants to run in the ring again for the very last time. running in the ring will give another high payday of his life, in there 2nd match with pacman, barrera went to the ring only to survive and not to fight.
