MAB wants money that's whay he wants to have a fight again with Manny...that's the most and simple logical reason... PAC has nothing more to prove in fighting MAB.. and if he (PAC) wants bigger purse, there's a lot more pormising fights out there...

Boooo! He's figured out how to how to survive 12 rounds with Pacquiao, nevermind losing as long as he's a millionaire after the fight. I bet if it's not Pacquiao, he's not going to get in the ring again.

I think so too! I also think that Barrerra looked better fighting JMM than Packy. Let the battle for 2nd spot begin!

He did... but I think he now intend to take it back and keep it for himself instead. :D

Apparently, money talks loud enough that the PPV buyers don't even need to pull it out
of their collective wallet for folks to hear. It all boils down to the Benjamins, as always...

Indeed! :D

MAB said if ever he climbs the ring again it had to be Pacquiao or Marquez. I think Marquez is the most logical choice. MAB lost a controversial decision to JMM. JMM went down but it wasn't ruled a KD. This fight should also rally their Mexican fan base and will let the whole world know how much PPV sales they can generate sans Pacquiao. This is actually an easy fight to arrange as both of them are with GBP. Let's see of GBP will bankroll this bout, if not then they are just interested in making money with Pacquiao as the main draw.

After being handed two lopsided losses, Marco Antonio Barrera still wants a piece of Manny Pacquiao.

The Mexican media reported recently that Barrera, who was stopped by Pacquiao in Nov. 2003 and
outpointed late last year, remains hopeful of being granted a third fight with the Filipino southpaw.

Barrera has been sounding off that he still wants to make a comeback although his future will all depend
on his promotional company Golden Boy Promotions (GBP).

Barrera said he doesn’t want to fight a farewell bout against someone who’s just going to lie down and
die but somebody who can bring the best out of him.

And the boxer he prefers to be his opponent is the Filipino boxing icon.

While a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez looks enticing, Barrera insists fight fans would rather see
him face off with Pacquiao rather than see two fighters fresh from losses duke it out.

Barrera had announced his retirement from the ring moments after losing to Pacquiao last October in
Las Vegas.

The past few weeks, there are reports circulating that GBP is planning to give him one more marquee
fight before he finally calls it quits.

Sir,

I believe Manny and Marco will not sell. the fans have seen enough since Manny won convincingly on two accassions. Another match with Erik will be good for Marco though, even if they already fought thrice. Moreover, this will sell specially for the latino boxing afficionados because of 1) there is animosity between the two ALA grudge match, 2) Their last match ended where there is still despute who won the fight. 3) The boxing influence of both their promoters BGP and Top rank.

As a sidelight, they can invite Manny Pacquiao as the guest referree. Imagine Manny wearing a bowtie and giving pre-fight instructions like" Err ahhh, you know, I've ahh given both of you instructions in your dressing rooms.. Ahh you know, protect yourself at all times. Ahhh you know obey my command at all times. Ahh.. In case you don't obey my command I am still wearing my cleto reyes gloves for good measure ahh so I can give you a smackk in the kisser if things get dirty ...

if he wants big money fight, he should talk to GBP to have rematch with JMM

or he might try to convince Morales to exchange leather again for the 4th time

both of this fight is a sure hit and more logical than being pummeled by Pac again...
