Nobody really knows why JMM was able to pull a draw with Pacman when he was knocked down thrice in the first round in their fight. As JMM reasoned out, he was careless on the first round that he fought Pacman force by force. That was when he realized Pacman's power was for real. With JMM superb condition and master tactician transposed the fight into hit and evade from 2nd round to finish with his counter punching skills that beat and toke Pacman to school the entire fight and salvage a draw decision from judges though one of the judges misscore the first round 7-10 instead of 6-10 which could have determine the winner in Pacman.
But what was evident during the fight was JMM superb solid UPPERCUT that would catch Pacman everytime he goes in. Thesame uppercut that destroys the hard fought tough fighter from Thailand and our very own wily fighter Jimrex Jaca.
Why Barrera and Morales lost to Pacman these both great fighter almost never throw a single UPPERCUT punch to Manny Pacquiao in their fight. A slugger like Tyson and Pacman were exciting fighter who comes to the ring throwing hard punches from all angles almost whoever comes in front of them in the ring for demolition. They are hard nut to crack but ALAS a counter puncher with a "good uppercut" can cut this smoking hot fighter into submission.

Solis is sharpenning his two solid fisted UPPERCUT for the fight on Saturday for the slaughter of PACMAN.

JMM uppercut was effective because Pac was careless on his defense and his balance is not good (blisters on his foot and crams on his legs)... Would you think JMM can do that on the rematch (if it happens) of course not...

for example are MP-EM 1 EM tagged MP with a good uppercut that almost Koe'd pac if not for his conditioning pac would be in laland cause by the uppercut..

MP-EM II - no uppercut have landed on MP chin..
MP - EM III the same..

Uppercut are only effective if your opponent is near on you (Melee) range punch..

JJ ... the replies are mostly negative so far.

Is this what you wanted to happen? I feel
that you just write yourself out of a scream-
ing headline/title because the explanation
or the body is shallow and easily disputed.
Is this what you wanted?

the uppercut punch is always a good punch to catch MP or any fighter that have the same style like manny. But I dont know if it will still work now.

It will, look at Solis works on the leather ball its pretty sharp.

Yeah the uppercut work for JMM on their first fight...but MP improve alot after that fight and i dont think that will work on MP this time.

For Saturday's fight, Pac prepared a special menu for Solis. Since Solis is taller and has the reach advantage, Manny knows he has to come in. When he comes in a two combination punch: a whooping left to the kidney followed by a left cross to the chin, then lights out na :D

JMM was just lucky to pull a draw because of the scorecards mistake and the swelling hand of pacman. Pacman is much stronger than their first meeting and uses both hands. I pity JMM if he wished to fight pacman for the second time.

That's an excuse, you ask Daniel Ponce he will tell you the same reason for not KOing Gerry Penalosa. All boxers will have swollen wrist after the fight specially when fight lasted the distance. It's the uppercut that will tamed the Pacman boxing style.
I really don't know why you keep emphasizing solis uppercut he's no morales nor barrera..
Its the antidote for Manny's style "the uppercut" once he got smack into it by Solis his offensive mode will turn into defensive and everything will turn into chaos for Pacman. He is not a defensive fighter and once he is into it, time for Solis to send Pacman to school.

You got it right, MP-EM1 went to Morales because he throws uppercut, in the second and third somehow he got lost and went to mano y mano with Pacman and not doing his smart thing.
