Somehow big fights is not all about boxing, its more on the money. That is why a lot of boxing fights are very questionable. It has become so obvious that judges were blinds leading to the downward trend of the sports.

Heck.. Morales has the Counter Upper Cut trademark boxer/slugger but he wasn't able to apply it against PAC. It's the PACMAN style of fighting that prevents his opponent's out of fighting position coz he move akwardly and he comes out move from different angles. :P

Morales seldom use uppercut in his fights because he is not a counter puncher he rely more on his jab straight combination. Boxer/slugger is not effective in Pacman slugger style.
Watch this fight with Solis, Pacman will be schooled again exposing his one dimensional fighter against a pure counter puncher like JMM. 8)
Pac's right hook then a left straight to Solis' chin.
Right hook isn't effective against a counter puncher, it's only possible to a slugger/boxer slow long/short jabs. But against a counter punchers stiff jab right hook renders obsolete. There's no counter for stiff jab but defensive blockings, right hook is too risky, the countering uppercut from a counter puncher. That is what JMM was exploiting.

How you contradict yourself is beyond me... you dont counter punch with a jab. so a term "counter punchers stiff jab" does not exist. How could JMM exploit that during his match with MP when MP didnt even have the right hook in his arsenal then.

and a right hook is the best counter for a jab as you can time it and its an easier blow to take and then counter. when that right hook lands and followed by a left straight... solis will say bye bye and good night.

remember the first right hook that landed on morales on their 3rd fight... that was a counter from morales jab.

You don't understand pigsho, a stiff jab from a counter puncher is fast and that really hits hard snapping your head. There is a soft jabs like measuring distance for follow up combinations. These are the jabs that can be countered by quick right cross by moving in closer to your opponent. That's what Morales does in measuring his opponent because he is not a counter puncher.
A counter puncher stiff jab like Winky Wright, Oscar dela Hoya, Hearns, Sugar Ray, etc. just for example can't be countered by right cross. But I believe you can't understand this pigsho.

You're chosing a very strong KO punch.

the uppercut punch is always a good punch to catch MP or any fighter that have the same style like manny. But I dont know if it will still work now.
