The lady who sang the American anthem totally F***ED UP!!! LOL...I had all my gases belching when I heard the noticeable "crack note" plus the ugly falsetto at the end...THIS IS SOOO EMBARRASSING...That biatch should hang herself for rendering a desecrated National anthem...probably one of the Worst in championship boxing

Geneva did OK...the Mexican gal sounded like she's singing the song for the first time
Hey take it easy on the girl. Don't add insult to injury coz i am sure that girl is so humiliated already. It's a nerve wracking event to begin with.

The Lupang Hinirang are literaly words of a passionate lover and a brave warrior all in one. Though I am not a musician (my granddad was) I can clearly see where it should be sung pianissimo (very softly) and where it should be sung fortissimo (very strongly.) Read the lyrics and even a sintunado would know where those places are. And it should be sung in an upbeat, fast tempo the way it was composed to be.

None of the people who were commissioned to sing it during any of Pacquiao's fights had sung it according to its tempo and gravitas. Every single one of them sung it to bring glory to themselves, (not to bring glory to the song) by injecting their own falsettos, octaves, attitudes and whatnot. They were trying to be like Paula Abdul or Mariah Carey, what with their pyrotechnical voices and shreiks. Too much attention-seeking for themselves. So little attention to the song.

I AGREE 100% WITH YOU, BRO!

hey that was not a singing contest, mind you guys. pls give them a break. i am no singer but maybe they were just overwhelmed by the huge number in attendance.

Then why did they accepted to sing with that magnitude of audience if they will be overwhelmed ? There are lot of singers FilAm or not around there.

Geneva Cruz was alright. Some of you guys are just too critical. Do you guys who criticize her think you can do better? Lol.

Geneve Cruz sang beautifully. Not to mention she is beautiful. Is she married? Anyways, The woman that sang the Mexican national anthem sounded a bit communist. Maybe she was nervous. The American National anthem was butchered. If you watch it again, right after she scraped the back of her throat trying to hit the high note her facial expression changes as if she was mad at everyone in the Alamodome laughing at her. I almost felt bad for her...syke!

OT: Are you for MAB vs Pac rematch or MAB vs JMM? Which do you think is more beneficial to MAB?

MAB vs. JMM is a more beneficial fight for MAB, JMM didnt put a hurting on MAB the way Manny did, matter of fact fukk wat the score cards say, MAB dominated up until the 7th round when JMM clocked him. As far as beneficial to JMM and Pac, thats the fight to be made for both of them.
