Does anybody know how many PPV's were sold from last Saturday's Pacman-Solis fight?

I hope it comes out. Somehow, I have this feeling like Mano-A-Mano, we might not know the real number.

LOL

128K is a good number but not really, Solis is unknown but famous. The result was not bad but not very good either.

next pacman fight will not even in the PPV...barrera sold more PPV with fana..pacman needs a good opponent to sell ppv. i heard the phil cenema paid only 100 dollars and resold it for 10 bucks a pop each person...huge profits for the outlet but not for the promoter. BOB ARUM must be thinking now if he made a mistake or not.

In the TR contract, they pay Manny a minimum of $2M per fight.
He paid him $2M against an unknown opponent in Solis and i don't think
TR made money on Blaze of Glory. The only way for Pac to generate high PPV numbers is to fight a popular fighter with strong followings just like Erik, MAB and now add to that JMM.
Now it's hard to bite the bullet. Bob did all he can to grab Pacman
from GBP and now he's paying the price.

If this is true, Pac is not a strong PPV attraction at all.
MAB vs JMM generated 225K PPV buys while MAB vs Fana earned
more than 200K.
Pac's popularity and fan base is still concentrated on pinoy fans

200K+ is because of HBO's advertising and support. THis was all on Top Rank. HBO never even mentioed this fight so number could be lower...let's see

Barrera vs. Fana is only around 70,000 ppv buys (the biggest joke ppv :D )

Barrera vs. Juarez II with 180,000 buys (even with very solid undercard)

Barrera vs. Peden with 125,000 buys

Looks like GBP has a strong clout on HBO and that's why Bob Arum have been blasting HBO lately. Bob is burning all bridges and this is not good for Pac's future career considering he's now tied up with TR for 4 yrs.
Bob also hit below the belt when he made racial & personal attack on Richard Schaeffer, the CEO of GBP. Bod said that the Swiss contributed to Jewish persecution after WW2.

And your forecast of Pac vs Solis PPV is 400K :biglaugh:
and Pac will be paid $5M for that fight :bounce1:

GBP must be laughing at BOB ARUM with pathetic PPV buys of MP vs SOLIS.
