The PACQUIAO-Solis fight generated the 2nd highest internet chatter among important boxing events for the period starting Feb. 1 to May 7, 2007.

The April 14 PAC-Solis card is more popular on the net than the March 17 MAB-JMM fight and the Feb. 10 Mosley-Collazo fight...
:wink:

This data showed that PAC has established himself as a proven name in boxing... In the league of ODLH and PBF and greater than MAB, JMM, Sugar Shane and Collazo... :wink:

OK, i'll try my "medical" accounting...

ODLH-PBF:

$120M - ppv revenue
- 35M odlh purse
- 15M pbf purse
- 50M marketing/promotion (hyping cost)
-------
$ 20M ppv net

PAC-Solis

$ 9M - ppv revenue (estimated)
- 2M pac purse
- .3M solis purse
- .2M promotion
-------
$ 6.5M ppv net

The above were very rough figures but i like the way PAC-Solis performed taking into account that Solis is a total unknown commodity... :wink:

We can also translate it to attendance if you want: :biglaugh:

ODLH-PBF = 16,500
PAC-Solis = 15,000
Barrera-Marquez = 8,000
Mosley-Collazo = 6,000
Vazquez-Marquez = 5,500

Can you do the accounting for the attendance... please... :biglaugh:

THE WORLD AWAITS HAD MANY TOURS AROUND THE U.S. PLUS THE PRINT & TV COMMERCIALS. PAC SOLIS DID WELL EVEN WITHOUT THE MEDIA HYPE. :twisted:

That's an 11-city tour? My rough estimate for marketing/promotion or the hyping cost of ODLH-PBF is about $50M in total... :wink:

Hope the "Awaits" backers can present some rough data here for us to laugh... :biglaugh:

Dude, stop quoting Arum and citing internet chatter statistics and just give us the PPV figures. The PPV figures for Mayweather-DLH have already been released! Arum has taken almost a month to reveal those figures to the public...probably because he is embarrassed lol.

Dude carnal Señor Heroe, I have no control for the release of that number... How about conducting a protest rally infront of TopRank Las Vegas office demanding the release of that PPV numbers? Are you willing to go to Vegas... :biglaugh:
