Bob Arum said:

"I’m very pleased with the gate and pay-per-view buys which are still being tallied but should be about 200,000," said Arum. "There were lots of gains for Manny in that fight. For instance, I think Manny now realizes he can’t hold back against an opponent who’s awkward and lanky, that he can’t play around and that he needs to stay aggressive like before. It was a great card and Manny’s win was a fitting cap."

Do you believed in his statement that PPV reached 200,000?

do you actually believe that the counts are still being tallied? after a month? heck the mayweather-delahoya fight's ppv buys is already released .. they easily counted the 2.15 million buys

Perhaps Arum has a difficult time since it had to be counted in Spanish. :D

If it's close to 200,000, then it's probably over 190,000 and not 175K. Top Rank was aware of this number a week after the fight, but chose not to release it in my opinion. 200K is a good number, but I think he's a bit disappointed. Without the backing from HBO and Showtime, it's a pretty good number.
