I just want some comments and advice here people. Don't judge Khan "just" on his last fight. But judge him on what had happened to his career so far.

I'm gonna say sort of. He surprised me when he beat Maidana and survived. He also surprised me with how easily he beat Judah. Then the Peterson fight made me have doubts but he still fought well in that fight and took hard punches. Then last night he was still beating Garcia(who is now being overrated after this win) when that lucky punch happened.

He needs to tighten up defensively and fight more carefully. Other than that he is still a good fighter.

For me, Khan still has it but what he needs to do is shut his loud mouth and improve his defensive skills!

YES. Khan really talks "too much". I really dislike it when he "brags" on things he shouldn't. Like on how he can keep up with MP. Or that how he is one of the best, etc. I mean...talk is cheap. He doesn't have to talk that much. All he has to do is WIN both convincingly and against good adversaries. :o

Thanks for the comment El Indio. Your dead right with that fight against Maidana. He really "survived". Hehe. I still remember laughing when i saw tip-toeing in the ring, and he was like dancing with the stars when he almost went down. :)

Richard Schaefer said:----> "Amir Khan got caught with a punch. But one punch does not change a man. I can assure all fight fans that Amir will be champion again. What we saw from Amir in three rounds is his tremendous offense.

"Now he needs to go back to the drawing board and focus more on defense.
If he does that, he will be a complete fighter, and nobody will be able to beat him -- and I do mean nobody!"

There is no such exercise to strengthen the HUMAN CHIN . Unlike manny's weakness before which is his breadbasket, he improved it by the "STICK Method"... unless amir is to dumb to use the "Stick Method " on his jaw !!

He had some "Good" fights, beating washed out old fighters like Barrera and Judah. Yes, he beat Maidana but during the late rounds of that fight, he keep on running like a super-scared girl that's about to be raped.

Yes, he is over rated.

To the victor, the spoils. Garcia, now unbeaten in 24 fights, with 15 knockouts to his name, will climb the ladder after what will be seen as a giant-killing moment. "I needed a great fighter in front of me to show how good a fighter I am. Now everyone knows. I'm a killer. I will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. I hit him with the same shots I hit Erik Morales with when I won the title last time and that shows you how great a fighter Morales is. People said he was old but he took those shots all night long and Khan couldn't take them."

WOW. Very nice quotation from Garcia. There you see the difference. Garcia knows how to "respect". It seems as though Amir Khan lacks respect to his opponents.

Khan WAS overrated.
Not anymore b/c he now has a lot less respect.
