Lost respect for Berto since he ducked Mosley. Now, he is fast turning into a journeyman tsk tsk tsk

Adrian Broner is everything HBO had hoped Andre Berto would become. But even though Berto isn't what HBO had hoped he'd become, he's turned into an action star of sorts with his vulnerability and heart. Berto won't be a pound-for-pound type star but he'll be in great fights every time out that he's matched tough.

How did Berto duck Mosley? The dude's family was badly affected by one of the strongest earthquakes in recorded history, Mosley went and got a big payday vs Mayweather afterwards.

No argument on the earthquake's effect on Berto's kin. But if that was the real reason, a postponement of the fight vs Mosley would have been most reasonable.

But records would show that Berto fought Quintana around three weeks earlier than Mosley v Mayweather.

I tend to believe Berto avoided Mosley than being affected by an earthquake's effect. He could have fought Mosley and earned more to help his kin if he were confident of winning. But then again, it could be the "step aside money" significantly offsets what he earns in the fight. :)
