Yuriorkis Gamboa (22-0, 16KOs) was ringside at the Magic City Casino in Miami, Fla. for the debut of the 15th season of ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Gamboa lives in Miami and was there to support his fellow countryman Rances Barthelemy, who fought in the main event.

Gamboa returned after a 15-month layoff in Dec., outpointing Michael Farenas on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez 4 undercard. ESPN's Bernardo Osuna asked Gamboa about his future plans and the Cuban now campaigning at junior lightweight and fighting under the banner of 50 Cent's SMS Promotions reaffirmed his interest in a high-profile clash with WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21KOs).

"The next thing is for me to defend the title I won in December, but we're looking for a name," said Gamboa. "[A potential Broner fight] doesn't just depend on me, I hope Adrien Broner will accept this fight as well."

even if i dislike broner, i am pretty sure that he will defeat gamboa if ever they will meet inside the ring.

broner can penetrate gamboa's defense. gamboa can wjn if he trains seriously and stops being cocky inside the ring.

I believe that broner wins this one, but Arum will secretly intervene, judges will favor gamboa, via split decision.

broner by late ko. gamboa is careless and has suspect chin. mot to mention broner is naturally huge than him.

How can Broner win when Gamboa does not fight toe to toe? He will be chasing the Cuban all night long while being smothered with pillow combos.

ok, then it is likely that broner will win via unanimous decision.

if you only watched manny pacquiao you won't know

broner fights like mayweather but not entirely. he's more aggressive than floyd sister.

gamboa's chin is a proven failure. he will not engage broner in a toe to toe. firing combos then using the ring will be his greatest tactic.
