While Golden Boy and Showtime are banking on the Mayweather "money machine," Bob Arum is training his sights on the asian market, especially China. (Without sacrificing the US market, by scheduling fights in the morning).
For the Pacquiao - Rios fight, PPV is the equivalent of $6.00.
There is a huge market waiting to be tapped. The numbers might just eclipse whatever Mayweather can churn in.
Your thoughts?

PPV in cable tv is new in the Phils. Has Skycable PPV released how much buys they have on the Mayweather fight which they sold at P299 or $7.29?
I also bought the Viloria and Donaire fights for P599.00.

You forgot to research... Filipinos are found everywhere in the world.. especially the US.
They buy Group PPV but only when Pacquiao is fighting...
while Latinos buy PPV not just for Latino Fighters but for Pacquiao also

therefore Pacman is very influencial!
1 Pinoy can command the latino's to watch!

$6.00 PPV is probably only for the Philippines and possibly online or live streaming viewers in China. It can never be that cheap for the USA viewers.
