ROUND 1:

Buffer introduces both men, Bayless does the honors, they touch ‘em up and we’re off. Golovkin takes the center of the ring early. First punch of the fight is a Golovkin jab. Golovkin stalks as Canelo circles against the ropes. Canelo slips a stiff jab. Golovkin paws out a few left hands. Patient start to this fight from both men. Golovkin continues to pry away with his jab. Canelo ducks under a wild shot and digs to the body. Golovkin jabs away. Canelo smacks Golovkin with a nice left hand, but Golovkin just shakes his head. Canelo is starting to open up a little bit now, unloading a nice three-punch combination. Golovkin pressures Canelo into the ropes as the bell sounds.

ROUND 2: Golovkin again takes the center of the ring and starts working his jab. They clinch. Canelo goes body-head but misses. Canelo smacks Golovkin with a stiff jab. Golovkin is showing a lot of respect here for Canelo’s skills. Canelo opens up with a flurry, Golovkin responds with a short uppercut. They’re taking turns leading the dance, but Canelo is getting the better of most exchanges. Golovkin is only really finding success with his jab. Canelo digs a shot to the body then dances away.

ROUND 3: Canelo is slowly starting to open up with his punches. And he picks up right where he left off, as they start slugging it out. Golovkin lands a left hook to the head. Canelo mixes up head and body as he flurries. Golovkin eats a pair of stiff jabs from Canelo. Canelo is doing work here, mixing up his attack and landing at a much heavier clip than Golovkin. Just as I write that, Golovkin stalks forward and lunges into a nice body shot. Golovkin walks Canelo into the corner and cracks him with a hard hook.

Round 4: Canelo plants a stiff jab in Golovkin’s mug. Canelo lands a shot to the body, but Golovkin just eats it and starts throwing. Nothing connects. Canelo puts his back against the ropes and goads Golovkin into slugging it out. Canelo is just hanging back and playing defense, taunting Golovkin and telling him to fire. Canelo releases back to the center of the ring but eats a hard right hand from Golovkin in the process. Golovkin is starting to find his range now. Canelo eats another pair of hard shots.

Round 5:

Best round of the fight! It turns into a war. GGG nailed Canelo on the ropes, Canelo came back but GGG got the better of it. Great round

Round 6:

GGG's round. He seems to be getting rolling now. Jabs, right hands, even some body shots. GGG gets this round.

Round 7:

Another very good GGG round. I see it as 10-9. Alvarez moving and trying to stay away, GGG stalking and landing.
GGG looks to widen the gap points ahead of Alvarez.

Round 8:

GGG with another excellent round. I see this round 10-9 for GGG. Canelo's body language is terrible. I think he's fading. GGG seems so strong. whew.... GGG seems to unleash his bad intentions to knock GGG out! Canelo seems hurt

Round 9:

In this round, they traded some huge shots. Difference is Canelo buckles, GGG walks through them.
GGG is more determined to put Canelo down on his *** in this fight. I see GGG way ahead of Canelo by 3 to 5 points.

Round 10: Another blazing round, but I gave it to Canelo close. This is a great fight!

Note...amazingly, Canelo was able to land a clean shot to the chin of GGG.. but wewwh... GGG stands still by eating shots from Canelo.
GGG has an iron-chin!!! :o WHAT A GREAT FIGHT.

I see GGG win this by unanimous decision... a close points from each judge
