Bob Arum hints Manny Pacquiao could be next for Vasyl Lomachenko

A big fight might be on the horizon for #1 pound-for-pound boxer Vasyl Lomachenko.

Bring it on December at 140 or 142 Lbs no less , not 138 .

Totally agree. 140 would be great. Pac will be faster but not drained/

Pac might lose to the top 147s right now because 147 has never been Pacquiao's division. The only reason the other guys might beat him is size. Skill and athleticism-wise, Pacquiao is better than all of them even at 39 years old. If Crawford was the same size as Pacquiao with the same reach, Pacquiao would beat him too. It's just size. Has Pacquiao declined? Yes, but he's still more talented than guys like Spence, Thurman, and Crawford, and the only one of those three whose speed has surpassed Pacquiao's due to Pacquiao's age is Crawford. In a P4P sense, if Pacquiao fought at 140 or 135, he is still better than those guys. If Pacquiao's team were smart he would enter the WBSS at 140 because he would beat all those guys and become unified champ at 39 years old which would solidify his legacy. But that's the point, even though he will chase bigger fights and not do that, he still has the talent to do that vs guys HIS SIZE. He has been fighting bigger men at 147 for a decade and as good as he's looked, that has actually made him look worse than he really is. So as good as he's looked, he's actually even better than that. Think about that.

I like this comment from boxing forum :)

Pacman been fighting in his walking weight for a very long time now. Lomachenko should do the same. It should be in 147 lbs. PacMan is older and to get him to dehydrate down to 140 may not be good for the older champ.

140 lbs is Manny's natural weight, not 147 lbs. It will not be problem for Manny fighting at 140 lbs. Loma may have a problem fighting at 140 lbs.

Loma's gonna have a problem with manny @140. Although we have never seen any boxer that has loma's skillset, he doesn't have enough power to bother pac. Pac is so used to taking punches from bigger men than him at welterweight. I think pac is gonna take some shots just so he could get his punches in. I greatly favor pac in this matchup. I just hope he doesn't go below 140lbs where his aging body will suffer dehydration and could affect his performance.

Fight won't happen. It's a mismatch. Loma & his camp know this well.
Arum is only hallucinating with his greed for money.
He did everything to stop the Pac-Matthysse fight to no avail.
Now, he's so silent with Pac's victory.Ok old man, match your Crawford instead. :D

In my opinion,Loma won't fight Manny totally risking his boxing career.
Manny has experience, skill, speed, power that could ruin Loma's day anytime.
Manny might be old but he's always a great and dangerous fighter that could embarrass any fighter.
Why risk it?...
Why not Loma vs. Crawford?

Manny is too much for Loma, if Linares was able to hurt him, how much more if it is Manny. :)

Lomachenko camp is certainly avoiding Pacquiao.

135lbs is a big no no for Paquiao.

So the fight well never happen unless Pacquiao is getting stupid and go down to 135 lbs

Loma's camp will not take the fight @140.. They know it will be a disaster for their guy ... They would certainly not let
"Lomachenko" be renamed "Lona-chenko" ... or " Mattress Guy" from The Matrix .... : :D :D
