Thurman and Ellerbe are now talking of a rematch. Do you agree? I thought Packy beat Thurman clearly and unanimously...

No need for a rematch... If any, he should give DSG a rematch instead...

Here we go again......
The dark powers behind boxing made it appear like a very close fight (they even had it a split decision LOL) to warrant a rematch.......
Tough fight but its really a unanimous decision........
The 1st 6 rounds clearly went to Pacquiao + the 10th, that's already 70-62........
The rest of the 5 rounds could go either way........

it was a brutal fight thurman landed more power shots the knockdown made the difference. Thurman deserves a rematch where he'll box more. i have to admit its one of the best fight ive ever seen but at age 40 Pacquiao cant keep on absorbing those heavy shots to avoid long term head injuries. he took a lot of hard shots in this fight. i would like to see pacman takes on mickey garcia, lipinets, or danny g.

No rematch, fight the next champ or Floyd ... enough of rematches in the twilight of his career, unless he loses of course lol

A split decision is already wrong.......
If I were in Manny's camp, I wouldn't consider a rematch........
The dark powers will make sure Thurman will win the rematch, then a trilogy for Thurman's taking........
Pacquiao can just simply retire........

tataas kumpiyansa ni Thurman sa rematch he had Pacquiao figured out in the later rounds and he'll be more cautious in the early rounds pero ayun nga a rematch would cause Pacquiao to absorb another heavy shots from a bigger boxer.

i agree it should be a clear close UD.. but to say Thurman does not deserves a rematch is a bit unfair.. it has been a while since we saw Pacquiao fought someone who keeps on fighting back and landed more shots.. the kd made the difference.. as a fan i'd like to see this kind of fight again but you have to be concern with Pacquiao's health as well. and given that he wants to fight 2 or 3 more fights i dont think its the right idea to fight Thurman again.

For the record ESPN and Yahoo Sports score sheets was less generous for Thurman 117-110 and 116-111 Pacquiao.

Pacquioa is not getting younger,it is obvious that he won that fight fair and square though Thurman has his moment in the middle rounds but there is no doubt that Pacquiao won, what benefit he will get if he give a rematch, Pacquiao is good for 1 or 2(the most) more big fights, I would rather go for the winner of Spence-Porter since it will unify 2 more belts, then retire win or lose. Pacquiao is already fighting at a very young age and still boxing at age 40, its too dangerous to continue, while he may still look good physically, we dont know what effect if will give when he reach in his 50's. There is nothing to prove. :D

Spence a better boxer and puncher compared to Thurman.. Spence can be a pure boxer in a fight.. pacquiao really wants to fight this guy. with the hard fought win against Thurman this is the right time to call it quits.
