Here we go again......
The dark powers behind boxing made it appear like a very close fight (they even had it a split decision LOL) to warrant a rematch.......
Tough fight but its really a unanimous decision........ (quoting Duncan from another thread)

Even ESPN also had it for Pacquiao, 117-110.

Clear UD but in comparison with Pacquiao-Bradley, Pacquiao-Horn, Thurman landed the most punches even higher compared with Pacman's previous opponents. Compubox alone cannot decide the outcome of the fight. Both fighters fought well, showed great heart, courage, skills to overcome troubled moments in doing so both fighters absorbed punishments its part of the game. Stylistically no other boxers in the welterweight division can produce this kind of action pack fight aside from Thurman, Spence and Crawford would likely box to a UD win, except of course with Danny G and Mickey who were not really big welterweights a bit fair and good match ups for Manny.. Now going back with the Manny-Thurman fight is was clear UD but we all knew that rd 1 KD really made the difference and Thurman connected a total of 210 punches. It was a very exciting / entertaining / brutal fight. We know Thurman can improve and won't underestimate Pacquiao's punching power in a rematch (just in case).

No other fights can produce the same fireworks the way Thurman and Pacquiao slugged it out (a reminisce of Pacquiao Morales 1)

Does Keith Thurman deserves a rematch - I think yes given that kind of performance.

Do i want to see a rematch - No since we have to consider Pacquiao's health

I'd like to see Manny takes on Mickey Garcia, Lipinets, or Danny G then retire for good.

If I were Thurman, i would rather have the dignity of a fighter moving on from this clear loss and fight other top welters than issue a rematch with a 40-year old legend who dropped him once and almost knocked him off while being tired already........
