A-c-t-u-a-l-l-y, prized fighters aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah know already Nonto's aaaaaaaaaaah fighting style. De yaaaaaah counter Left hook with the yaaaaaaaah aid of one step for force and de yaaaaaaah right hand uppercut. In fact I aaaaaaaaah saw Nonito on you tube teaching anadir boxer how to aaaaaaah deliber a KO left hook years ago. One's fighting style should aaaaaaah supposed be aaaaaaah kept secret. It is aaaaaaaaaah better for him to aaaaaaaaaaaah only fight undir de yaaaaaah ALA sponsored fight card or time to aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah retire. Besides, he is aaaaaah already aaaaaaaah getting old. :)

Donaire is one-dimensional, just stay away from the left hook and he's gone ... only a foolish boxer or an iron-chinned one will ignore it.

Eversince, Nonito just relied on his left hook & sometimes right straight,
He has no combo of punches & wanted for a single haymaker to stop his opponents.
Besides, he's awesome versus fighters who come forward like Montiel & Arce,
This is when he got used his devastating left hook, his only powerful weapon.
But against a retreating nemesis like Magdaleno, his left hook was stagnant & useless.
Yes, Magdaleno won but i wasn't impressed. He kept running backward wary of Nonitto's power.
In his recent fights, he was the aggressor & wasn't scared to fight toe to toe.
He beat Donaire by some close points but being the favorite local boy was the big difference. :?

Magdaleno just did the right game plan of taking away Nonito's biggest asset. The left hook was a dud totally and wasn't a factor in the fight. Magdaleno was right prior to fight night, that he will take away ND's left hook and he will win the fight. He just made Nonito the aggressor and falls to his game plan.. :hat:

agree on this, Nonito relied too much on his left hook and right straight... he caught Magdaleno few times but wasn't able to KD or KO him... :( :( :( :banghead:

The problem with this old kid:

His move always diminished when he gets hurt.
He don't adjust his gameplan as the fight progress.. (Magdaleno was hurt by body shots, but this old kid didn't take advantage of it.)

At higit sa lahat, nauuna ang yabang!

Nagtatalon ako sa tuwa nung marining ko yung, "AND THE NEW!!!"

Agree! Don-EARS needs to retire ASAP. He has feasted on midgets long enough.

fact is nd has been slower, more hittable and inaccurate since the rigo fight.

the flash in filipino flash is gone. he only gives me flashback of his ko loss to walters.

time to retire and find another passion... maybe commentating or training young boxers.

it'll be difficult for nd to become a champion again against younger, faster and more durable opponents.

His power was still there but his footwork, speed and accuracy were no longer the same.
Magdaleno was the accurate counter puncher with blazing jabs
