He's been a 4 division world champion, destroyed a lot of champs, legends, top contenders during his prime but in his last bout against a young lion Jessie Magdaleno , Donaire really looked past his prime, slow reflexes, getting hit a lot... I don't think he can compete with the likes of Oscar Valdez, Lomachenko, Santa Cruz, Gary Russell jr. If he still wants to stay in the game then he needs to be more selective when choosing an opponent.

Agree. Nonito has been flat for a long time now. He was just exposed again today. Nonito is an old 33. What could have wrong with him?

nonito is still one of the best pound for pound.
he gave us a lot of good fights na ikinarangal natin. and he is a warrior, matapang na boxer ito.

it just happened na maganda ang game plan ni magdaleno kahapon.
napag aralan iyong style ni nonito. but the fight was really close.
if he throws his right straight more often before magdaleno do his lateral movement.
at hindi kumakagat doon sa right feint jab ni magdaleno. iba ang magiging resulta ng laban.
malakas parin mga suntok ni nonito. there are a lot of times na na groggy nya si magdaleno.
i want to see the rematch.

He still beats most in his division. Could have beaten Magdaleno. Close fight where he was the agressor. Just got caught with a good punch. Could have happened the other way around. Suwertihan din.

I don't think we are better than ESPN and other sports broadcast.
Nonito won. He lost relative to our expectations.

C'mon man! Magdaleno beats him fair and square.

I agree, during the fight I scored it 7 rounds to 5 for Magdaleno. I watched the replay and scored it 8 rounds to 4.
The pace of the fight never change throughout the fight. If your opponent is beating you with every punch you need to change your movement. But Donaire just keeps on going forward without head movement and as a result he gets hit a lot.

Magdaleno won by perfectly executing his gameplan - eliminate the left hook.
He uses the clinch very timely and effectively.

Don-EARS lost fair and square. He should retire. His legacy will be known as fighting midgets, getting schooled by Rigo, and got KO'ed when he fought someone his own size.

Time to retire.
